Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 19/09/2026Learning how to draw taught me how to learn. For that I owe Art everything I am. 051
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 15/09/2026(Not saying it's not possible, but it sounds very challenging) 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 15/09/2026I want to see furry media, created by furries, that talks about the experience of being a furry. About being someone who has desires to tell a story without humans. Being a furry is a really weird and complicated experience, and I'm not sure how you can translate it without humans (or equivalent). 220
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 15/09/2026In my experience living in this world, being a furry is largely defined by conflict between what I personally desire, and what "human society" expects from me. I am a dog forced to fulfill human obligations. Most people I know IRL are normies, not furries. 120
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 15/09/2026I don't think I've ever seen furry media that's about the experience of being a furry. I think a solution is to create worlds where only a small subpopulation are furries. But most IRL furries don't seem interested in putting human characters in their worlds. If everyone is a furry then no one is. 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 30/08/2026Ooooh is there another curriculum you're following? The practice of learning and teaching art is one of my special interests because I'm actually so lame but yeah I would love to learn more 200
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 27/08/2026The phrase "hugging face incident" evokes such horrific imagery and it turns out the actual incident is somehow even more horrific. 000
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 23/08/2026AI replacing overworked artists means objectively speaking there are less overworked artists. If you confuse this statement as an endorsement of AI then shame on you but I really want us to ask ourselves what it is exactly we are clamoring for. 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 23/08/2026Sorry if I misunderstand your point but aren't there a colossal number of differences between modern life and the 1500s? Why is the expectation that removing copyright today will make life comparable to the 1500s? And why pick 1500s as your reference when we could pick any other era? 000
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 22/08/2026thanks for the feedback! I want to get my arguments right so I greatly appreciate this. 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 22/08/2026I have no idea how the world would change if we abolished copyright. But without copyright there would be no lunch money to steal in the first place. 110
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 22/08/2026On the other hand if Valve sues you for infringing on their work, it doesn't really matter whether they're right or not. The smartest option is to stop what you're doing without question because the battle is not worth it. 100
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 22/08/2026What if you *know* Valve stole from you but can't prove it? Then you lose. What if Valve copies your work, but alters it just a little bit - enough to the point where infringement is not provable beyond a resonable doubt? Then you lose. 200
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 22/08/2026Let's say Valve did infringe on your work. My guess is you are imagining an ideal where: the infringement is obvious beyond a resonable doubt; that you have the financial stability to take time off to go to court and afford lawyer expenses; that your lawyers are better at their jobs than Valve's. 100
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 22/08/2026If I see one more anti-AI take that endorses and glorifies copyright I will lose it. 130
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 10/08/2026The closest parallel I have for AI is that it is a performance-enhancing drug that mimics productivity at the cost of neuronic function. Hank Green succumbed to AI usage in the same way a doctor can get addicted to opioids. AI is inherently addicting and it is ADVERTISED *EVERYWHERE*. 040
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 10/08/2026Especially infuriating because corporations all over the planet are getting away with using AI scott-free (see: ZERO pushback against very obvious AI usage in Brand New Day). I actually think the vitriol that vibecoded furrycon app guy got was embarrassing considering how pervasive AI code is. 110

Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 25/07/2026Ive thought a lot about this too and here's what I think: 1) the world needs more code and the rate at which we need more is increasing. that's enough to conclude LLMs will take over. 2) in an LLM future, children who have adult programmers in their lives would think it's the coolest thing ever 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 23/07/2026New video out! I'm quite proud of this one. www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0ts...youtube.comHow Ron Swanson Predicted Furry VtubersYouTube video by Sirius Goob 020
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 16/07/2026As it turns out I drew this almost two years ago, sitting in my files. I think I forget how much I've really learned because of how infrequently I look back. 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 15/07/2026As someone from latin america I promise you there is no one more racist towards latin americans than latin americans. 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 21/06/2026And maybe what this means for us creators is that we have to start making media that acknowledges this and encourages people to create for themselves. Something's gotta change because the kind of negative reaction TADC is getting, *of all things*, is somewhat alarming to me. 230
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 21/06/2026Sometimes I do feel that people confuse "I am experiencing discomfort" to be the same thing as "this is bad media" but I suppose that's another discussion for another day. I think people have a desire to create but feel incapable of doing so and in turn project ownership on their favorite media. 140
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 21/06/2026I think it's especially true for indie productions. TADC ending was good! It ended things well. It successfully explores the show's intended themes. That already makes it triumphant and I'm really not sure what else people were expecting. 120
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 19/06/2026Aahhh fuck yeah I'm so sorry to hear that. I was hoping concerta supply was just better across the nation. I wish there was something I could do :( 000
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 19/06/2026Concerta is less popular than Adderall so there's way more stock available for it (at least where I live) and while the first month or so was rough after being on addy for years, I legitimately think Concerta is the better drug 100
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 19/06/2026What medication do you use? When I moved to Texas, Adderall became impossible to find. My doc switched me to Concerta due to supply issues and I am never going back. 210
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 19/06/2026the fundamental question of the show is "does love transcend severance" and the mystery doesn't really help answer that so it feels tangential, and putting so much focus on it felt insincere 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 19/06/2026season 2 left me unconfident about the future of the show,,,, too much focus on the Cool Epic Mystery that doesn't feel earned. it's not a bad mystery but it diluted what made the show great 110
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 18/06/2026That's a GOOB idea thank you!! Idk why I didn't think about that!! Square did that with FFVII why can't we!!!!!! 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 18/06/2026I spent a few months now learning C++ for UE and ugh I really do hope Verse is good but I think I'm going to reevaluate where UE sits in my future when each new feature is another mountain climb to learn that deprecates old features that were also mountain climbs. 110
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 18/06/2026rockstar has every resource to make the world's perfect dog game ushering a golden utopia for art and creativity but since they are cowards we'll just have rise from the ashes of the oncoming collapse and do it ourselves 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 17/06/2026And then painting in oil feels like digital painting where nothing is true and everything is permitted. 110
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 15/06/2026filthier art makes the world a better place I will die by this opinion 010
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 06/06/2026You will!! Have faith in the procees. A fun exercise to improve speed is to give yourself a time constraint. Give yourself a time limit that sounds impossible, like 30 mins, and really try to do the whole thing. Keep that pen moving! If you get stuck anywhere, make peace with it and move on. 120
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 06/06/2026Ever since finally mastering the skill to follow a calendar and a to-do list I've been crying most days. 030
Sirius Goob! @sirius.dog · 31/05/2026"is it that hard to pick up a pencil?" Actually yes it is and I think trivializing the courage to draw and create reinforces the belief art is not for everyone. 052
