I made a mini model for planning my #factorio base! It's not *exactly* to-scale, but it helps! Also, when's a good time to start Space Age? Is it different right from the beginning, or would I be able to start a second save and get a really basic factory going while I finish with my vanilla save?

It uses Display Panels as markers for various things; train cars, smelteries, and crafting sections for other important materials. It has a section dedicated to oil processing, above the oil train, and a section for science automation on the other end.

The model also features power poles, roboports, and fluid pipes running along the main belt.

I don't have much I'm waiting for in the gaming space, but to get release dates for 2/3 of them in the same week has me pretty excited! Tarnished Edition on PC will just add some armors and weapons, but, fashion! And DOOM: The Dark Ages is a paladin game! Of course I'm excited for more of that! :D

Streamathon was a great success! The Sun Squires added nearly two weeks to the clock! I tried 16 games I probably wouldn't've otherwise tried, and gave a second chance to a couple I didn't remember enjoying. Now I have 10 'new' games to continue and a good start on acquiring Greaves 2.0!

Extremely happy with the work @sinistersuns.bsky.social did for my Streamathon timer! It's so much fun to work with artists! :D

People've been so loud for so long about generative AI actively hurting artists that I strongly believe anyone who continues to use it simply doesn't care. Generative AI has no place in the creative field. Not used as references, inspiration, or for placeholder images. Hire artists.

Behold, the PNG-wiggler! (Volume warning) The things I was using lacked the features I wanted, so I did a little tinkering with Javascript. It has a silence threshold, a loudness threshold, and can apply effects to all states. The wiggling is greatly exaggerated for demonstration purposes.

I've managed to sort out my #TiberianSun upscaling issue! Sorta. I never did find a borderless-windowed method that didn't shrink to the game's normal resolution while a menu is open. But through a combination of setting my desktop resolution low and upscaling in OBS, it's "fixed". :D Continued 🡫

Here's every surviving unit from the end of today's #TiberianSun mission. (Except one GDI Jump Jet Infantry who I forgot on a random island off-screen.) If I'd known the whole map was dotted with SAM sites, I wouldn't've made so many Orca Fighters. I don't know why I felt the need to do this. :D

#CoreKeeper letting me find triple boulders of Scarlet, Solarite, and Galaxite by digging in a straight line, but keeping Octarine out of reach is so mean. (Jokingly, of course.) To my knowledge, you can't progress to Galaxite without Octarine. As each ore crafts into the next tier of station.

I think one of my favorite features of Dark Souls 2 is being able to co-op after the area boss is defeated. You have to use the small summon signs, but it's still nice. Also, the ability to be invaded post-boss. (Don't like invasions while Hollow, but that's- I have enough effigies to remedy that.)

One thing I've noticed on my current Dark Souls 2 run, is that even though I still dislike the things I disliked the first time, I'm having a LOT more fun this time. It's probably the Jolly Co-operation. I'm able to avoid the skill issue and just look around at stuff.
