You low-key just gotta go through every card on the board and check its effects. This isn't as difficult with entry-level decks, but as you get to higher tiers with more synergy, it can get pretty tedious. It just comes down to playing until you know what your deck does

I'm really struggling to see how Gatac making this ship is going against any type of lore or pre-existing idea, at the end of the day the Tyilui is a transport ship, Gatac has exclusive rights to make transport ships. I can't see any reason that this ship doesn't make sense from a lore perspective.

I do think it's a bit sad that the only industry focused alien manufacturer so far was chosen for this when we have so few industrial alien ships, but hopefully as they build out their roster, they focus more on other types of industry. (I also hate the tiburon, and it feels like a cash grab to me)

Oh for sure, CIG wants to make cool ships, that feels like one of the biggest driving forces behind recent ships, just look at the tiburon. I also don't think that a manufacturer straying from its brand a little is that weird, anvil has the carrack, origin has the m80, and aegis has the reclaimer

You could probably make the argument that transport and logistics is part of industry, even if it's combat focused. Maybe it's set up as a convoy guard or something, like a fleet of railens with this thing in the middle to offer security. We all know that players would never use it like that though

I was actually surprised S2 didn't launch with carri. It didn't really feel like an end of season thing, but more like a reward for cooperation. basically a free barter you could get for playing nice. I do think that the key templates maybe shouldn't be there at launch, though.
