There were four of us on the bargaining committee. Three were laid off this week, myself included. I will be okay. This just sucks.

I was willing to do whatever they needed me to do just to work on Fallout or TES. I got hired on the fifth try when I was 22 and had been modding Fallout for a couple years. I was told just a few months ago that leadership was very pleased with my work and that they felt I had a bright future here.

I am not really used to posting anything anywhere; I've never even used this Bluesky account. But I got laid off from Bethesda Game Studios this week. I was a bargaining rep for our union. I applied to work here five times starting when I was 18. I had 0 experience the first couple times I applied.
