Mint the success of 2.0. Hoyo is definitely stepping up the fanservice in their designs to compete with wuwa but that’s not a win- this is a losing game. Female players are essential to a game’s ecosystem. It’s why Genshin is the titan that it is. You alienate them fully and your days are numbered.

Are not a community who will appreciate the other aspects of the game. They will not enjoy the story if it doesn’t keep pandering to them. Kuro needs to pivot and add more co op functions and characters that fill other niches (like ciaccona!) and pander to a less unstable fanbase if they want to

The formula will get old. Incels are a dicey crowd to cater to for that reason- they will only want escalation and they’re leave the game when kuro hits the point at which they won’t cater beyond- which I think we’ve already hit since they got slapped with the 16+ rating and adjusted designs.
