And credits roll… also much better second run.

It sure has been a long time since I’ve played Starfox64… I couldn’t remember how to damage a couple of the bosses and ate through some continues rip. The new Starfox seems to be a great remake overall.

This is the only version of Warlords I’ve played

The counterpoint I guess is, “what if you don’t do something and lose everything?” Another option would be to pay a professional to get everything transferred.

Concept sketches for the 1994 Capcom D&D arcade brawler 'Shadow over Mystara'. The D&D Basic Set's successor, the Rules Cyclopedia, was the most popular version of the game in Japan and was starting to pick up some momentum alongside Lodoss RPG/Sword World.

A sketch of a gameplay screen with three heroes, fighter, dwarf, and elf, stood by a signpost with two patches leading to Moutnain Pass or Marsh, depicting the path select screen

Sketches of level design and some cute chibi cartoons of a fighter choosing a path and facing off against a beholder.

Rough sketches of how magic spells will work and effect the party, such as Wall of Fire.

I'm convinced that RegEx was devised in a crumbling wizarding tower that the common folk tell their children to never go near because that is the place the Mad King calls his home, and to approach it is to invoke madness into one's soul and deny themselves the light of Heaven

Did a group playthrough of Desktop Explorer. Nice set of puzzles and good mystery. Not *too* challenging and not *too* spooky.

Forgot to mention I bought an analogue pocket as a bday present to myself a couple months ago.

Will probably wait for the update Deadeus X though since it comes out this year and will have even more endings, it sounds like

000

Red ✨ @sircheese.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Got most of the endings of Deadeus. May try for all of them but the couple I need to get requires me to start over from the beginning.

Red ✨ @sircheese.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Other reason I wanted to grab one this year was because of the looming fear of a price increase (which did get announced recently).

Red ✨ @sircheese.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Yeah, it’s surprising how Not Different it is. Makes me yearn even more for the WiiU’s Mii Plaza era. I grabbed a Switch 2 a few months back for Pokopia at my sister’s behest and liked it more than I expected to… So Star Fox will be my second S2 game lol.

Red ✨ @sircheese.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

I’m planning on picking up Starfox in the next couple weeks. Heard its a good remake.

Panel de Pon single credit clear w/ no character deaths… but accidentally selected hard instead of very hard. It’s been years since I’ve played so maybe that was for the best… I did alright at least, heh heh.

Enjoyed RE4make! I had only played Mercenaries in high school so it was nice to enjoy the actual game. I’m interested in going back to the original RE4 at some point.

Included with 1993 point 'n' click adventure game Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers is a neat 'Making Of' video showcasing its Hollywood voice cast. Behind the scenes at Sierra On-Line HQ where we get some prime Tim Curry being, well, Tim Curry at his smoothest. #VideoBytes

My sister practically begged me to buy a Switch 2 and Pokopia. We’ve had a great time showing each other our progress each week and will eventually do some group building projects together.

Red ✨ @sircheese.bsky.social · 20/04/2026

Got credits roll in Pokopia the other night and forgot to post here. This is definitely the kind of game that steals all my time even after I “beat” it lol.

We’ve been catching some friends up on Stampede so I am also basically waiting for Stargaze to be finished lmao

Final Fantasy 1 complete. Definitely an old game but glad I pushed through. Felt I was over leveled until the final boss (took a few tries and understanding temper stacks lol).

Friend threw me a short adventure vn called Save the Date! and I played through it today. I can see why it left an impression on him. It seems it was a finalist for a couple different awards years ago but I wonder how well known it is these days.

Oh, should mention I did not get the secret ending for Act 2. Did not know about it til after I couldn’t do it anymore. Miiiiight go back and do another run at some point.

Red ✨ @sircheese.bsky.social · 27/10/2025

Got both endings for Act 2 and started Act 3. I did basically everything I could before the final fight on the recommendation of a couple different friends. I… now understand why lol.
