"Diet Drives Pressure" What you eat drives your blood pressure. Too much salt, too little fruit and potassium pushes risk higher. Small diet swaps = big protection for your heart. #WorldHypertensionDay2026 #DietMatters #GlobalHealth

Filters are a marketing trick to make cigarettes seem less dangerous. Smoking kills, with or without a filter. They make it easier to start smoking & harder to quit. Filters have even contributed to a rise in an aggressive type of lung cancer. #TobaccoExposed #WorldNoTobaccoDay 🚭
A hand holds a pink-and-white cigarette pack with several cigarettes sticking out. Thick black tar-like liquid drips from the hand and the pack. Behind it is a smoky purple and blue background. The image reads: “Unmask the appeal. #TobaccoExposed” at the top, and “FILTERED BUT STILL FATAL.” in bold text at the center and bottom.

It's #WorldHealthDay Since 2000, maternal deaths globally declined by 40%! 💙 BUT—progress is slowing, and aid funding cuts mean major threats to lifesaving maternity services in many parts of the world. ❌
Access alone is not enough; people need high-quality care. Fewer women are dying in childbirth as access to health care has increased.Maternity service coverage has increased.Access to health care saves lives. Pregnancy can be a dangerous time in a woman's life.

Out-of-pocket health expenditure of 10% or more of their household budget is placing 1 in 8 people worldwide at risk of poverty. Governments must adequately invest in #HealthForAll and protect people – particularly the most vulnerable among us – from high health spending. bit.ly/3OGl5hA
