The US population in 2023 was 343.5M and there were 18,874 deaths caused by guns. The UK population in 2023 was 68.3M (1/5 the size) and there were 28 deaths by guns (1/643 by comparison). Guns are readily accessible in the US but not in the UK. Less guns = less gun deaths. Who da thunk 🤷‍♂️
