The only solution is to lean into the silly.

Name a Disney Princess, wrong answers only.
Pam Poovey from Archer. In a scene set in her spy agency employer’s 60s-style office, Pam stands with her back to the viewer. Her blond hair is in a high, well-kept updo, but she is naked from the waist up. Her back is completely covered with a tattoo of a nine-line poem written in a gothic font:

For the Angel of Death
Spread his wings on the blast,
And breathed in the face
Of the foe as he passed;
And the eyes of the sleepers
Waxed deadly and chill,
And their hearts but
Once heaved,
And for ever grew still!

Above the poem are haphazardly-inked tally marks totaling 13.

Post your lock screen.
The front of a communicator prop from the original Star Trek series. The image is dominated by the flip-top cover, a brass screen made of a hexagonal grid of holes. Through the screen you can barely make out the panel behind it. It is made of black plastic with a pebbles texture. In the center is a gold and black starburst pattern of many dozens of rays, with a silver ring around it. There are three light bulbs at the bottom, yellow, red and green, each with a silver ring around it. The prop is in good condition but everything has a patina of actual use.

Dear Marie Gluesenkamp Perez: Great fucking job. You really nailed this issue. Take a victory lap, you earned it.
Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez: "At those town halls, what I saw was that the people who were the most upset, a lot of them had spent the last 12 years driving their girls to sports practice and they view their best shot of their student getting a college education as an athletic scholarship. And so when we rush to moralize and be like 'this is all about love vs. hate,' I think we miss some of the nuance."

The “Donald Trump’s Face“ labeler’s detection algorithm is prone to false positives, but sometimes you can’t really blame it.
A frame from Hogan’s Heroes showing Werner Klemperer as Colonel Klink, in full Luftwaffe uniform. A warning banner from a labeling service runs above the image and says “⚠️ Contains Trump’s Face,” with “Hide” off to the right.

Colonel Klink does not look much like Donald Trump, apart from both being white male Nazis.

The “Calvin’s dad explains two types” meme, inspired by a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon.

Clockwise from top left:
1) Calvin’s dad walks into frame to find Calvin trying to operate a record player. The dad says: “There are only two industries left in America: gambling, and fraud.”

2) The dad shows where the record goes, and how to turn on the player, while Calvin watches. Dad says “Derivatives? Gambling. AI? Fraud. Video games? Gambling. Social media? Fraud.” Calvin says “yeah”.

3) With one hand open palm up, Calvin’s dad cheerfully explains to Calvin out of frame below him, “The stock market looks like gambling, but it’s actually fraud.”

4) In bed in a dark room, Calvin clutches at his pillow, eyes wide in existential terror. There is no text in the panel.

A four panel comic. In the first panel, a single hand reaches up out of an endless ocean, palm open and upright as if to seek help. In the second panel, another hand reaches in from the top left corner of the frame. In the third panel, that other hand gives the first one a high five. In the fourth panel, the other hand is gone, and the first hand sinks to the fingertips; air bubbles indicate the person is drowning.

Serious question: Has this ever worked, anywhere? “You killed my kid because you don’t like my leader, so I’m going to depose my leader for you.” Because not only have I never heard of it working, I don’t personally know anybody who would react that way. You kill my kid, I‘m blaming you, not Trump.

This image shows three people in a vintage computer room from the mid-20th century. The man in a suit looks surprised, standing by a printing machine. Anakin: stone-faced silence.
