Sophos Intercept X (virus scanner) warns me about the app as it's too new (no reputation with them). That's expected. But the report contains something interesting: "changes network connectivity state". What is this about?

Be careful where you hang off of! >w<

Toony drawing of a scene inside a bus. Neop the bat is hanging off of a ceiling mounted hand rail, next to some slings to hold onto. Skraww the gryphon is holding onto him tightly instead of one of the slings, his eyes are closed and he seems content. A cat person at the front right is looking at them from the corner of their eye, a kobold-like creature in the back is reading something.

Oops, I flew into you, you're okay? Bat's been at a small local cosplay con recently x3 #FursuitFriday 📸: Goldwolf ^w^

Photo of Neop the bat (fursuit), looking at the viewer and holding a plush banana in one of his wings. The blurry background shows a paved street and some buildings of a German town. The photo generally looks rather soft and dreamy.

There's the zipped hoodie missing in that picture. Happily, I grabbed the last one back at EF. It's one of my favourite designs, even though I'm not that tired. :3

I think your brain sometimes gets so used to hanging upside-down that it confuses the actual upside-down with your upside-down/our normal. XD

Even though the pictures are great, a little magic from @karatarus.bsky.social wide-angle lens wouldn't do any harm... :3

And companies still should go for the other way. I only recommend that software for home instances. See licenses, etc.

(2/2) security updates. In ShutUp 10, they show you why you should or shouldn't deactivate each feature. You can save configs in both ShutUp 10 and winutil to transfer it to other devices. Just make sure to use the newest version of these tools. :3 (Otherwise missing features)

Then you should check out O&O ShutUp 10 or Chris Titus' winutil. They both don't modify Windows as much and give you control over each setting you want to apply. There you can disable just the ads and telemetry. Just look out for what you're doing - some settings may deactivate important (1/2)

Well, if you're willing to pay annually for it. But updating or reinstalling Windows is the easier way. And go for an AtlasOS, TinyOS or right away Linux if possible. Companies should check the GPOs and other environmental variables like the type of license. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/window...

This does not mean that there won't be waste of properly working tech. I'm very well aware of how many computers don't meet the official requirements. But at least citizens can use Win11 if they choose to. Ps: I'd still prefer AtlasOS, Tiny11 or a Linux right away if possible.

Afaik, it is possible to update to Win11 (or re-install as Win11), even though Microsoft will neither offer support nor recommends it. But even with Win11, I prefer to modify Windows for AtlasOS. This is Microsoft's statement on unsupported hardware: support.microsoft.com/en-us/window...
