A landscape of a large underground rabbit city -- a burrow -- as framed by the return home of a war party. Bit of an attempt at making a big landscape, it had been a long time since I tried that. Not everything is perfect but I'm pretty happy with the overall vibe and composition!

In the rightmost edge of the picture, a party of anthropomorphic rabbits in medieval/fantasy gear comes back from a battle, some wistful, others bandaged, banners high.

Sweeping from there is a point of view of a large underground cave system traversed by an underground river looping around a large pillar on which a large city has been carved out, overlooked by giant sculptures of armored rabbits and interspersed with water and waterfalls. All around on the other side of the bank are farms and mines, connected to the central settlement by bridges.

The city center itself is diverse, protected by a large fort set on a rock in the water, but also comprized of a richer area surrounding a gold-roofed palace and, on the other side, large beach-side slums. Bridges extend into the rock and far in the distance, hinting at a much larger structure and colossal infrastructure beyond sight.

Life has been incredibly tiring and busy lately but we persevere, much like everyone's favorite catbird. Someday maybe her story will be told, when I've the time to actually put the grind on and knock out some sort editing work. In the meantime, enjoy this little Gilda doodle!

Had that mental image while surrounded by pigeons in a park yesterday. Amid WIPs I don't really have the vibe to finish yet, it's nice to doodle something quick from time to time!

Getting the vibes on! It's been a whiiiiile since I've drawn these two hasn't it. I'm still working on my big project with 'em, I swear it's going somewhere I just don't have time to move fast ;;

Gilda and Rainbow Dash (MLP G4), younger and still hanging out together, in the early days of the Cyberpunk AU. They're wearing a hoodie and a track suit respectively, and are playing air guitar and singing using a remote (also respectively).

Colors and cloth folds for that one. A quick doodle, but I really liked the way the colors came out.

"Temple run"! Easily one of the most overexecuted silly ideas I've had in a while, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see more of this.

The Lamb (from Cult of the Lamb), wearing a Rogue Squadron pilot uniform and piloting a X-Wing in the middle of the Trench Run from Star Wars Episode IV. Swapping in for R2-D2, the Red Crown looks behind them in alarm as a couple of fighters shaped like the symbols of the old faith close in, followed by a worm-like ship bearing another crown. In the upper left corner, the One Who Waits grips at the bounds of his vignette and shouts at the Lamb 'Use your curses, Lamb!" while his two guardians look on from the background befuddled.

The picture uses reds, blacks and whites, in limited hues, to keep to the theme of COTL, while the aesthetic borrows more heavily from Star Wars.

"Wanna race? First to the spaceport!" --- Wanted to play with a limited palette and detailed lines again! Broke out the Ace Combat OST for that one.

There's Gig again! Let out of my 'box of characters whose design I like enough but not enough to keep drawing' for a brief time. Further work on postures.

I really wanted something with an opposition between vertical and horizontal lines, and the opposition between colorful sunset and drab parking lot was a neat addition to it. Warmth and the hope of better days, or maybe wistfulness from good memories.

Been a little bit, both for posting and for these two! It's been fun to draw them again and observe how my style has changed over the years.

The messenger and his guide engaged in a lively discussion during a break on the road -- or at least lively storytelling from the guide. At the center lies a flattened candy wrapper containing food for the road, and next to it is a little fire above which a repurposed coffee pod has been perched.

This one was a bit of a struggle to get to a point I was satisfied with, but here we are! A little bit of hope is always important, especially lately.

"Sire please, must you really stop and strike a pose every five minutes..!" -- A silly little idea that took a longer while to complete than I would have wanted. Look at this dashing knight though! I'm sure he'll help his loyal servant eventually.

A bunny in a space suit sits in a field of debris. He is starting up at a glowing plant which has grown out of the ground and is emitting a blue light. Above him, two astral bodies emit a rusty red glow. The two colors mix and match, and seeds and other embryos of plants have started to coat the ground with what looks like glowing stars.

The bunny is holding, but not wearing a helmet, indicating that the air may now be breathable when it was not prior. He looks quietly happy.

A party of adventurers takes a rest after a long day in the depths. Wanted play a little with archetypes and postures in this one.

A party of adventurers sits around a campfire in some sort of stone ruins. At the center, a wolf warrior, clad in armor and furs, reads a book and ponders their next move. On the left, a rabbit in armor wrestles with a rat rogue for some valuable which the latter has swiped from him. "A glimmer of hope can be found even in the most baleful expanses. With some effort, even the trembling hands which hold it may nurture it to health..." --- Cyberpunk-Scifi-ish stuff there! I wanted an odd structure and circular patterns and the idea of an inverted skyline to wade through was fun.

A rodent in protective gear kneels by stagnant water. In their hands, they hold an unseen object which projects a bright turquoise light, and they seem transfixed by it. Behind them, a gray expanse stretches on, full of waste and dotted by lights, until it reaches a vast, outstretched structure of upside-down buildings arranged into a sphere. The wastes and the sphere are connected by a series of uneven pillars which seem to be holding it in the air.

The weather's been nice here lately and it's got me wanting to draw fitting clothing, so here you go! A quick one to get back on track.

The thought behind that one was "cyberpunk druid"!

"Why do you fight? There is nothing you can do that could harm me..." Brought forth by the thought that a mage with a great command of transmutation could be truly terrifying to fight, here's a mage straight up melting and absorbing into herself the metal equipment of her foes.

A bird with a body of solid gold levitates over an army, arms extended, a smug grin on her metal face. Below her, the gathered soldiers scream and gaze in despair as the very metal of their weapons and armor melts off and rises up to reach her, where it is steadily absorbed into her body.

Behind her head, a light shines to give an impression of power.

"The alarm rings again and again and again, each time another day." Don't always post my vent doodles, but this one I felt was good enough.

A rat lays in bed, underneath bedsheets. In front of him is a phone, lit in blue, which appears to have gotten his attention. He reaches out with a hand, staring with one lidded eye at the interloper that ended his sleep, a forlorn expression on his face.

Behind him, on a red background, letters form the words "ANOTHER DAY" in bold, but crumbling letters.

"Won't you come sit by me? The breeze is gentle tonight." Winter may have started, but my head is lost in summer nights lately. There's something indescribably nostalgic about them.

Julia (my gerbil character) sits back at the top of some hill or cliff at night. In the distance beyond her, a coast and the lights of a city stand out against the night sky and a few stars. Her hoodie has halfway fallen off of her back and she gives the viewer a gentle smile, her tail whipping out in the edge of their vision.

Two light sources highlight her, the ambient light of the city in the front, the red stoplights of a car in the back.

It's been a while since I've taken the time to draw Vinyl Scratch, so here's another take on the character than the one I usually go with. Wanted to mix strong and muted colors too and I think that the result works quite well.

"So, what do you think of Trixie's latest find?" I realized recently that I'd never drawn Trixie and Gilda hanging out in the AU and set out to fix that. Trixie has many things to share and Gilda is happy to discover!

Cyberpunk AU: Trixie and Gilda sit together. Gilda is wearing headphones a size too small and listening to a cassette tape provided by Trixie, who is boasting about them next to her. Trixie looks smug, leaning back on a hoof and pointing at her chest with the other, while Gilda sits coiled on herself and is focused on what she can hear. Thee beat of her tail betrays that she enjoys what she is listening to.

We're somewhere past 4 years of the Cyberpunk AU being a whole corner of my brain. Project is nearing some form of completion, and if it's not gonna be 2024, I'll make sure it's 2025. Stay tuned! In the meantime, have a rare happy birb.

Gilda the griffoness (MLP) is sitting on the edge of a metal platform and eating fast food. She has a happy expression on her face as she looks at the fry that she's holding up in front of her mouth.

In keeping with the cyberpunk AU, she is wearing a grey hoodie with purple highlights and a red patch, as well as a wonderbolt-themed jacket. Her left claw and wing have been replaced by prosthetic, much like the back of her skull.

More of my little fantasy setting, woa. Wanted to do something with a full background, and also wanted to see if I could make bright colors work for it! Pretty happy with that one honestly.

A little less polished than I usually like to post, but I like it well enough. If sunlight won't come to you, make your own damn sunlight.
