There are people going to multi-day events not bringing toothpaste?!💀 What's next? People not bringing fresh underwear? You are bringing fresh underwear, right? 😶‍

Since that AVGN episode, this game and its OST lives in my head rent free. Playing it, you just feel the love the devs poured into it. Especially when the game busts your balls. You just know they played it themselves a bit too much.😂

After being part of a Smash Ultimate major: I don't see much difference between Fighting Game Community and Smash Ultimate community. Event vibes are very similiar.😅

I am collecting sources on must-watch/read/experience on the FGC (Fighting Game Community), for an group of non-FCG members! Form is below, as well as more information. forms.gle/RWgNYua8EWG7... A group of 33 masters students studying heritage and culture will ask the following 3 questions:

Certainly a character type that hasn't been used in a long time. We only got trap characters like Byakuya and Carmine in UNI. In general, characters have been heavily moving into the shoto copy and paste direction.

There are only that many experienced streaming teams in Europe. Reasonable though, as nobody is willing to pay for the work. Doesn't excuse poor lighting and camera positions, if they already had that set up. Hope EVO France won't disappoint us. :)

Jan "SinJul" Openkowski @sinjul.bsky.social · 23/10/2024

Yeah, it makes sense. Can be happy that they even host them. Workload is the same, you always need commentators and bracket runners and a streaming team. I hope they don't explode👴 #oldmanjoke

Yes, played as many matches as I could. Game felt really nice and old school.

Rock felt strong in the Gamescom demo. Hope Tizoc sucks again 😈 Learning the Just Defend timing will be crucial in CotW. Breaks are weaker and button input is changed, but timing is similiar. Just need to get used to throw, universal AA and overhead, as well as break inoutse. Garou 1 is good prep

I didn't go this year as UFA felt very sterile last year and it's still just Paris. Players told me it was better this year though. Will see how EVO France and UFA align next year.

Combo starter command grab without whiff animation. What could go wrong? 💀

Jan "SinJul" Openkowski @sinjul.bsky.social · 23/10/2024

I'd rather practice them in Garou 1. Feeling between CotW and KoF is different.
