Medicare fraud? I got a letter and a new card with a new number from Medicare last week. It said that said the new number was issued to protect my identity and prevent fraud. It also said they found an “issue” with my old number. Nobody at Medicare can tell me what the “issue” was. Pretty shady.

In other words, it’s simply not even close to being as easy as most people think it is to go through the legal land mines to reach the point in the system where you can bring your evidence and story before a judge. Just like what often happens when a lawsuit is filed in either state or federal court, if you can get past the issue of jurisdiction and the many procedural roadblocks involved when a state sues the feds, and get into court for a hearing or trial, then evidence and witnesses battles have just begun.

My 1 yo fluffy female tabby of many colors is shaped like a football. A dog tried to kill her at 2 1/2 weeks and put her completely in his mouth and bit down hard enough to poke a fang into her abdomen that resulted in a hernia. We think it moved some organs out of place and damaged her lower spine.
