My last 4 “heart” animals have had a light tail tip or in the case of my dog Roxie, just a tiny bundle of white fur at the end of it 😅 those 8 furs were enough of a sign. Ninja had one complete ginger ring phase at the tip of hers (baby Squeaks in the background on her apprenticeship)

Vet said Ruby’s eye is definitely an issue worth having them out for. But the weakness, the restlessness, the generally looking rougher? All gone when they showed up. We were preparing to set a date for this dog, but no her friends the vets show up and suddenly she’s shiny coated and perky 😂😂😂

Still emptying the storage units that were an “amenity” when we moved in but suddenly a “courtesy” when our rent has doubled in the past 4 years. An excellent read! This is one of my favorite sculptures on the streets of downtown Philadelphia. I pass it often when I need to be in that area. But my absolute favorite is the Giant Clothespin by Claes Oldenburg. I’ve loved it since I was a small child, always wanting to see it when downtown.

House call vets are coming Monday to do a quality of life assessment for Ruby. She’s thinning, getting restless, more anxious than usual and that eye…that eye was not that cloudy a week ago 😕 She’s been walking into things more with that side of her body too. She’ll get to see her Mama again soon.

I wake up, finally feel ready to move, sit up, and start my day. I feel my legs weighed down by Squeaks happily nesting in the blanket between them. As soon as I start pulling them off of me, she gets up, stretches, and then repositions next to me while the strength in my legs activates, smiling ☺️

Put in a service request for our dishwasher back on August 17th. No one’s come by to look at it, no one’s called to say “Hey we’re ordering a new one for you it’s just taking some time.” NOTHING So, I’ve escalated the complaint. They don’t like the M word or the L word 😈
