"So what have you been up to since your arm went kaput?" You know, just the usual. I'm, uh, making a language. For my book series. I really want to make a video about this process to document it, but I have no idea how to get started 😭 Can someone who is good with Video drop their tips here?

VN devs, let's share our works together! Quote this with 4 screenshots from your game and a link to it! Nox Dies is getting traction for some random reason, so let me talk about one of the most personal projects I have ever made. How much would you sacrifice for love? ylvanaar.itch.io/nox-dies

My most recent commission for @sinisteri.bsky.social ! I have not gotten to paint dragonborn before so this was s wonderful opportunity. Had to learn a lot while painting, how to texture scales and how to pain metal for one, but I am quite happy with the outcome!

I genuinely am not sure where to social-media-market my art. X is awful. Instagram doesn't even let you browse tags so what is the POINT of that platform? Tumblr seems to be for fanart. I don't do well on video format, pictures and words are more my thing. Have some #wipart for your trouble.

Ten years ago I was sitting on a night train to nowhere, with nothing but my backpack and suitcase, ready to move cities. I doodled her on that train, and she was the first of my blue works - a Blue Period that never ended, it seems. For my ten-year artist anniversary I wanted to #redraw her.

Now that Said The Stars is done, I actually went and made another small game, this time with pictures and music. This one will take five minutes to complete (it's not out yet) and it touches on themes of hunger, tradition and cruelty of gods. Just need to test and tweak it a bit more.

Oh, I didn't post this here? Uh, Said The Stars, the text-based game I have worked on for past three years, is done. It will receive a handful of editorial updates for typos, thought flaws and general ease of reading, but I made a game. Well. Interactive Fiction. ylvanaar.itch.io/said-the-stars

Today is #Elfbruary day 5, and I was thinking of doing something different - sharing old elven works that I 1. Was not super proud of 2. Which ended up sketch-y or unpolished 3. Have not shared often in my socials These are from 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, respectively.

This year I vow to do my best to finally move out from sites like Instagram and TikTok that have mainly become sites to spread propaganda. I have never had big following anywhere, so it is not like the change is dramatic, but it still stings to have to start from scrap over and over again...

The Chinese internet is merciless 😭😭

Heterosexuality is really the most vulnerable sexual orientation in the
world. In human history, electric shock, detention, family coercion,
campus and workplace bullying cannot change homosexuality into
heterosexuality, but heterosexuality can become homosexuality by
looking at the relevant information and movies about homosexuality.

Recently I have been painting so much from reference and learning lighting and shading portraits and made a portrait in 2h with no reference at all. It does seem like some lessons do sink in when you take your time to learn them.
