Lurking through the wetlands of the American South, Haglings are small, mischievous beings, but don't ever let their small stature fool you; they are extremely powerful magic users and knowledgeable about the wilds of America.🌿 #lore #worldbuilding #artshare #artmoots #creaturedesign #fantasty

Let’s make one thing clear from the start: Charlie Kirk was the victim of a shooting in a country where he, along with other right-wing extremist influencers, have been inciting violence for years. — Kirk is neither a martyr nor a hero, he is a cause.

So here's more lore for my world building! This is the American Chestnut tree and how its eradication left a curse on the forest of North America! Hope you guys like it #oc #lore #artshare #artmoots #flora #art #worldbuilding

Once common in its Appalachian Mountains, the chestnut tree was devastated by the arrival of the Japanese chestnut, which unfortunately brought with it the blight; an estimated 3-4 billion chestnut trees were left infected by the blight and lost, bringing the species to near extinction. Very few mature trees still exist, most in witch nurseries protected by a magic dome. The nightmare doesn't stop there. In the place where some of the corpses of the dead trees lay, a cursed, beautiful white tree sprung up. Make no mistake, one bite from the delicious blue fruit from the strange tree will cause unavoidable death with no cure. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Some witches, especially in the African American community, believe it is natural revenge brought on by the almost eradication of the extraordinary American chestnut; they named it the “weeping curse.” If you by any chance encounter this deadly tree, never go near it and NEVER EVER take a fruit. You should call your local witch community to come and cleanse the area.

Y’all the WOT getting canceled might be my 13th reason…I’m so tired of fantasy shows getting canceled it’s so exhausting being a fan of fantasy. The book readers will be insufferable omfg happy? because we’ll never see WOT getting another adaptation this decade…
