Downgrade (coming soon) is replacing DCM8 in our KORG catalog - and it's an upgraded digital lo-fi processor that offers sample rate and bit depth reduction. The new effect has a wider parameter range, smoother controls, and also an additional new algorithm option on the 2nd-gen devices.

We're working on a new plugin that will replace DCM8 in our KORG effects collection. On the second-generation devices (NTS-1 mkII, NTS-3, microKORG2) it will offer a new "smooth" resampler in addition to the old "steppy" mode - plus a lot of small improvements on all platforms.
