Yep it's off season here which is why we're going 😂 Cornwall's way too busy in the summer, you can't move in those tiny villages for tourists. Must be a nightmare for the locals.

Hahaha that's ace! 🤣🤣👏👏👏

They're really are 😊 As long as you stay in 'safe' areas its positive! We're thinking of our next little outting whilst the weather's not too wintry (I feel the cold as much as I feel the heat 🥶) so maybe the South coast, we both love Cornwall & haven't been in years & I do love the sea 🥰

So sorry, I've only just seen your reply 🙈 You're right, we have a beautiful world & I love to see other countrys architecture from around the world & I love sharing ours 😊 This Abbey is pretty ancient, around 1370 years & it was somewhere I wanted to visit ever since I read Bram Stoker's Dracula! 😁

I hear you 🙏 If my (limited) knowledge of U.S political system is right Novembers a pretty important month so maybe he'll lose a bit of power? I think we're all surprised he hasn't been 'got rid of' by now! Im actually pretty impressed with our climate stance! We only emit 1% of global emissions 😁

Sinead🤘 @sineadpaghan.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Hahaha yep thank god but its not right. We're still hanging washing out, still doing stuff in the garden & today Im in a t shirt ... in October! Unheard of! The intense heat now feels like a distant memory & before long people will be wishing for the summer 😂🙈 Some people have very short memories! 😂

Night night sweet dreamies Even I have off-duty days where the tail droops a bit. Staying pawsitive doesn’t mean you’ve got to be happy all the time. Some days are just hard. But deep down, you know brighter ones are coming and they always do.

Hahaha it really is quite the journey with this plant! I don't know what it's going to do next & it changes so fast! That new bit at the end took less than 2 weeks to grow! It's totally fascinating 😂

Sinead🤘 @sineadpaghan.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

So true George 😊 It's so easy to write your whole life off as 'ruined' or 'bad/sad' when in reality its a small part which in time will pass. Every day is a new day & a new chance so take it & dont dwell on what's already gone. Nighty night 😘

And just like that, after the hottest year on record Autumn's found us... I honestly never thought it would! It's FINALLY cosy season!! 🥰

Uurrggh 😖What is it with chefs? They dont seem to be able to appreciate the natural world without looking at it as food. It really pees me off. Im a veggie so we dont agree on many things he cooks, but a little Octopus? I dont agree with fishing but I eat fish occasionally, its an internal struggle!

Night night sweet dreamies 🧡🐾 Believe in yourself, even when your dreams seem a little out of reach. You never know what wonderful things might happen if you find the courage to try. After all, every dream starts with someone believing it’s possible.

Not quite. My point was that I.T is no longer something only super rich need to think about. Now because of high property prices most of the population will have to consider it & work with it at some point which is why it either needs abolishing or raising as prices rise.

@jeremyandstormon5.bsky.social sorry Jeremy & team but your music question was WRONG!! Your 'correct' answer of 'Love is all around' by Wet Wet Wet was No:1 for FIFTEEN WEEKS However, the other choice of Bryan Adams track 'Everything I do ..' was No:1 for SIXTEEN WEEKS Do better!! 😂

Sinead🤘 @sineadpaghan.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I don't mind 🤷🏼 We need a change every so often & replacing them with nature is as good an idea as any.

010

Sinead🤘 @sineadpaghan.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Yes it affects 'ordinary' houses now & that's awful, they need to scrap it or raise it to a million. I don't profess to understand tax laws, I just remember using my deceased moms allowance to escape I.T when dad passed otherwise we would also have paid a fortune to the tax man.

Anyone with a house over 325,000 will pay I.T & with house prices through the roof thousands of ordinary people now pay it. It's no longer a super rich problem.

210

Sinead🤘 @sineadpaghan.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Yes. It used to be a thing only super rich people dealt with but with ordinary houses already over the £325,000 threshold thanks to ridiculous house prices it now means most people will pay it. I had to deal with inheritance laws for the 1st time when my dad passed 2 yrs ago & it's traumatic

Night night sweet dreamies An anxious mind can turn a tiny “what if?” into a very big story. Tonight, try to remember: not every thought deserves to be believed, and not every worry needs solving before morning. Let your head be quiet for a while.

Watching #EscapeToTheCountry & wondering why they don't take their shoes off whilst looking around these beautiful houses! All have very pale carpets & they're traipsing through with shoes followed by the fella in his wheelchair!! So disrespectful 😒

I think I've found the most expensive Fish n Chip shop. Whilst we were in #Bewdley we bought fish n chips for 4 people (3 normal size & 1 small) 2 small pots of mushy peas & 2 small pots of curry sauce £63! 😳😳😳 They were gorgeous but bloody hell, the price!!

Night night sweet dreamies Before you close your eyes tonight, say something kind about yourself. Not about what you should have done, or could have done better, just one good thing about the person you are. You deserve to hear kind words from yourself too.

Hahaha 😂 oh eck! The whole bottle & THEN some! 🤣 Bless, at least she tried! Have to say my mother did make the most amazing cakes (she called them gateaux) but every one was a work of art & tasted fabulous. I have also made some pretty fab cakes but they're few & far between bc I hate the kitchen 🤷🏼😂

011

Sinead🤘 @sineadpaghan.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Hahaha oh god I've had a few cakes like that in my time 🙈😂 But who cares what they look like, it's how they taste that matters!
