Although some practitioner voices are represented (primarily through the involvement of subject leads from multi-academy trusts), there is relatively little input from subject associations or researchers with expertise in areas such as emergent writing, spelling development, and the role of talk.

I contributed to @ioe.bsky.social #thankateacherday today. I thanked my PhD supervisor for teaching me to take a leap without knowing the answer.... giving up everything to travel to the US to do a PhD... and teaching me how to be a researcher
