Turns out the Aztecs have vampire type monsters, tlahuelpuchi, and I don't have to change anything about my OC cause he is already a family focused shapeshifter that summons ravens. Perfect. Love it.

Okay, I am going to be honest. I think the #zootopia fandom would have a meltdown if they did NOT make Wildhopps canon and instead gave Nick a completely different person as a Girlfriend. Some character designers do little to no research before finalizing a design and it shows. I think it's mostly due to time crunches with the Director not caring about important details and only wanting easy and fast results. That usually results in inaccurate designs that do more harm than good.

I was so worried that I would struggle with finding a good Nahuatl word for Vampire, since that is a European word. Though, I noted that in Teteocan, the 12th heaven, they put on masks/faces, ect. This is where I will have the Gods go when they are possessing a body in the mortal realm.

Been listening to #EpicTheMusical by Jorge Rivera-Herrans for when I'm working on writing my Aztec Mythos comic. I now wonder if he could write a musical about the Aztec myths, but how would be able to write music using these names from this language. We would need a nahuatl speaker. Haha

As a Homestuck fan, no I'm not going to watch the pilot. I don't think it will make me want to watch the series, and I don't think Homestuck needs an animated series. It's like seeing my favorite book be turned into a movie because a studio just wants to profit off it and turn it into a cash grab.

Hm, some writers think that just because they write in a big bad guy gaining political power it makes their storylines deep. That's not deep, evil politicians are easy to write. That plot doesn't have any depth, cause honey, that is just scratching the surface of the deeper issue at hand.

I need a Nahuatl speaker really bad! I want these gods to speak the language, and since I plan to publish this series in both English and Spanish, I really need the Gods language to be the native one of the lands. I am also willing to learn so writing their conversations feels natural.

Im not just writing one story that has a heavy focus on Immigration, but two, both with heavy with Aztec and Mexican themes to them. I love these people, the Mexicans, I really do. The food, the culture, the strong sense of community and family values. They are inspiring to me.
