I had another story published 🤩 This publication charges $3 for a copy 😕. I don't expect you to spend money unless you want to; but I wanted to share. This one channels the "dude bros" my boys love to watch 😄 'Man Down' by Jack Dream; starts on page 96 thehemlockjournal.com/2026/09/12/t...

I think every parent has experienced this - watching his daddies sleep ☺️!

I just realized that even if an object swatch in Paralives doesn't offer "patterns" you can still get some interesting, unique, looks for things. See this masonry texture I used on their bedsheets - I think it looks like a fun textured comforter 😊

A relaxing (but productive!) day in town. Landon was literally angry about eating and going potty at home so I figured he needed a change of scenery 🙃...

Look what I just got for the bedroom at my base in Fallout 76 today 😍!

Landon aged up to a toddler 🫶! He's aborbs but... where did that hair come from!? I struggle to see the boys being the "dye their babies hair" type so I'm gonna go with freak natural occurrence 😄

This man... A Lvl 29 manager in the music industry, perfectly skilled for his current role, no strikes on his record, and yet he's crying in the shower because he didn't get an upgrade point at work today 🤪

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

He might be a bit buggy but he's adorable 🫶 Also god I love edit character mode in this game. Annoying you have to use a cheat to change a babies outfits but the ability to make what looks like a custom onesie from inside the game interface - AMAZING 🤩

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

Guys, are infants in Paralives known to be a little buggy? Because I can't even 🫣🤭

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

As you may have guessed from my earlier posts, Duke and Gavin are now home owners 🫶😊! Working on updating their interior and I'm really happy with how this little dining room "china cabinet" turned out. This game as so much nice clutter already!

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

I do believe this is a dog door 😊🐶... I know pets are planned for future updates but its nice to see these little touches already built in that foreshadow those plans.

An example of the basegame build mistakes all the build content creators will be wincing at one day (if not already) 🤭 (In case you can't tell, the window on the left is actually 2 windows on top of each other in different styles)

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Has anyone else been getting inactive/wrong age skill leveling as want options? This is the third time for Duke. First it was fishing, then language, now outdoorsiness 🤪

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Poor Gav 🥺 - he got sick at work and missed dinner with Duke. He got treatment before he came home so he feels fine but he doesn't FEEL fine... I find it interesting that Paras hold onto their stress from getting sick after they are cured - it tracks - and this animation is sad but lovely 🥹

1144

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Wow Duke must have a really loud voice and a very quick mind - he's having conversation a with all four of these people at once while repairing a vending machine! Love that Paras can do this but the team needs to work on pathing and proper speaking distance 🤭

081

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

I have to say - even with no animation for it I appreciate that they boys can talk to each other while one of them is playing an instrument 🫶

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Another Paralives Photo Trick! I've found that any item a para is holding will disappear in photomode (so I couldn't get Gav playing guitar for example) If you press Ctrl+H you can hide the user interface so you can screenshot with whatever native computer took you like!

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

This NPC helped me understand my pre baby body better 🙃 Does she look pregnant? Little bit Is she pregnant? Nope (according to the search I did) Her body shape is very similar to what mine was starting around high school... and yes I got the "expecting" question more than once🤦‍♀️🤪...

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Thank you @paralives.com! The boys last rent bill was $1600 dollars because of a $1200 water bill 😮😬... this looks much better (it was a fix in the recent patch, patch notes linked in my thread)!

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

I honestly think this is the first time I've seen Gavin smile 🥹! In other news, I'm sad to say that judging by the way he's eating Duke apparently has an undiagnosed broken wrist... 🫣🤪😄

So I think this tells us that the constantly broken items around town are at least in part a feature, not a bug. Duke has been repairing a lot to raise repair lately and this appeared in the paper today:

I admit I don't know anything about this studio, but think this game looks adorable 😊

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

Used fulleditmode to place some Guitars around town since it seems paras can carry their personal guitar in their inventory but can't actually play it off their home lot 🤦‍♀️ Look at Gav playing On The Mountaintop... on the mountaintop!

1112

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

Had to unstick the boys because Gavin was being silly after Duke was already in bed. I actually learned about this little trick when I started posing sims in bed so I wasn't exactly surprised but... Yikes 🤦‍♀️

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

I wish Duke had changed into his workout gear but I couldn't get over how the door actually opened to give his legs room to do the push-ups 🤩 I was totally expecting him to be clipping right through it 🫣

Get Intimate animation clearly taken from The Sims but honestly, how else are you going to do it and keep that kid friendly rating 🙃? Love the little noises they make 🥰

2151

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

I love how Paras skills don't progress when they are in certain negative emotional states. Its semi unrealistic because you can lean when you are sick or bored but it is harder and for a life sim where the instinct is to grind its nice to have something that adds more challenge

Home sweet home 🥺? ? I really do love Melino but the constantly broken trashcans, etc. are a bit much. My guess is its to give your paras something readily available to repair but I swear in my game its every trashcan in town all the time!

282

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

Of course they didn't bother to change out of their PJs before they took the bus to the clinic... valid honestly 🙃

2131

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

I wish they looked as uncomfortable as they feel wide awake at 5 am because the virus won't let them sleep, but I love how they have different sitting postures! I'm choosing to say they don't want to go to ER so they are waiting until the clinic "opens" (I think the clinic shouldn't be 24/7 🤷‍♀️).

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Duke made the mistake of sharing a bed with his sick sweetie and woke up feeling ill himself (I totally thought that might happen and they have a guest bedroom, but honestly sleeping with Gav anyway felt like the Duke thing to do 🥹) He might not feel good but he's still making soup for everyone!

🏳️‍🌈 SimsLegacy 🏳️‍🌈 @simslegacy.bsky.social · 31/05/2026

Tip when you are changing color swatches in Paralives - always check your swatch options. I'm finding many items like this apron where the preview makes it look like you can only change one part of an item (single color blob) but when you expand the options you can actually change multiple.
