Smiles, sunshine, and sparkly tutus at Black to the Trails! The vibes were strong and we showed up for all of it. It was all about fun times, not finish times! 💜 Thank you Black Trail Runners for an inclusive and fantastic event #runsky

‘Having now made the decision to abolish NHS England, & while we still wait for the publication of the NHS 10 year plan, the government must be clear why this significant structural change at this time is necessary, & how it fits into their wider plans.' Read the full press release. buff.ly/mhsS47Y

Sarah Woolnough, CEO of The King’s Fund, with a quote about NHS services improvements on a purple and gray background.

The text reads:
‘Today’s announcement lands on the same day that NHS stats show people continue to wait days in A&E and many patients remain stuck in hospital beds despite being well enough to leave. The most important question is how will the abolition of NHS England make it easier for people to get a GP appointment, shorten waits for planned care and improve people’s health? That hasn’t yet been set out – ministers will need to explain how the prize will be worth the price.

Finally finished this. What a book and what an author! My current read is now Fourth Wing-it’s a very hyped book so let’s see if it lives up to that #booksky

Not certain what is happening with PubMed - see banner headline below. I hope 🤞 it's not going down - just a lot of people searching and downloading records important to their field. If PubMed does goes down use @europepmc.org it includes current PubMed abstracts plus a lot lot more. #PubMed

Also if you’re Alexander/Jake/Leanne, three big red flags should be popping up about Charlotte now: 1. Freddie voting for her 2. The fact she brought up that there could be no Traitors remaining And 3. Francesca picking her #TheTraitors

Wycombe Rye parkrun is cancelled tomorrow due to the icy conditions. I’ll create a BlueSky account for our parkrun soon (as the Co-Ed with @bobs1925.bsky.social ). We are still on that other site 😁

This is the kind of language that makes people like me feel unwelcome in the country I was born in, live in and contribute to. It also puts a target on my back (in particular as I’m very visibly Muslim) 😡

Some people in recent days have alleged a ‘cover-up’ over the grooming & rape of hundreds of young girls in predominantly northern UK towns, leading to calls for a ‘national’ public inquiry into child sexual exploitation FWIW here’s a non-exhaustive list of inquiries into #CSE in last 12 yrs…
