As a child in the 70’s and 80’s nuclear apocalypse was always on my mind. Climate change slowly took over my fears through the next three decades. Now it’s both with AI thrown in as a cherry on top. Like many people I feel helpless to prevent the inevitable….

One issue would be housing developments on the French side. The line is still there (of sorts…. Over grown and impassable) but now runs very close to new houses.

I’d say 5 weeks was an outlier, but we usually take 2 to 3 weeks off in Europe. Personally I also never take the work mobile with me either.
