One more progress picture before I get some sleep; followed another video tutorial from SamDoesArts. It's the new best thing I've drawn and yet also I can't stop seeing the problems and fidgeting over them. But that's normal - I'm happy that I did this.

I've been at it for just about a week now, drawing a little bit every day even if it's just warm-up practice exercises like basic shapes and perspective, and watching tutorial vids. These two drawings are separated by a couple of days, following a tutorial by SamDoesArts. Not great, but I like them.

I'm not very good yet and have a lot of things to learn and practice and refine, but it's fun. I go to bed at night excited. There's nothing quite like the feeling of "Oh my god, I drew this. I've never drawn anything like this before," even if it's something really basic and beginner-level.

I'm starting to learn to draw. It's a slow process, and it's one of those things where I know what I should do, but at the same time I don't know what to do, if you get what I mean. I've got a long way to go, and it's kind of a daunting task, but I'm enjoying it so far.
