If digital only is the future of gaming then AAA titles better see a huge price drop. You cannot take away the ability to buy these games physically and still expect people to pay 70-80$ for them when manufacturing costs are no longer a factor.

This is one of my biggest fears with the PS6. The hard work and passion of thousands of game devs will become lost media the moment Sony deems it time to shut the PS6 store. It's a console with a set shelf life and when that shelf life is up you can do NOTHING with the console anymore.

Putting games onto discs isn't even expensive to do but AAA CEOs love their short term Penny-Pinching that'll bite them in the ass long Term. I'm really hoping Sony sees all the backlash to this and goes back on their BS decision.
