Does anyone know a good platform a girl can post her poorly-written haikus? Y'know, because Tapas is shutting down. Asking for a friend... #writingcommunity #poems #haiku

I know Tapas has done some crazy stuff, but not even giving your premium creators, the ones who bring in your money, a warning about the shutdown is absolutely diabolical. #writing #writingcommunity

Do literary agents even look for poetry, specifically haikus, when looking at writers? Asking for a friend... #writingcommunity

Me: **sees something possibly good happening for her** Should I...feel happy? My Mind: I can only make you feel panicked & anxious right now. Me: Please no. My Mind: RELEASE THE PANIC & ANXIOUS THOUGHTS!

Traditional Haikus: elegant & beautiful poetry about nature & the beauty of life My Haikus: mostly me bitching about the fuckeries of life, my aching knees, my love for coffee & Hot Cheetos, & other nonsense...but in haiku form😂 #haiku #poems

Me: <<<gets to work on time & forced to wait for one of her coworkers(who are usually late)with the key to unlock the door>> I should have a key. Also Me: Nah, I don’t want that responsibility & don’t get paid enough for it.

The logical part of me: Save your PTO for emergencies or whenever you plan to take an actual vacation. The feral part of me: Be impulsive! Call out right now & see what happens when you're not there.

When I tell anyone in the outside world I write #haikus. Them: Oh, you write haikus? You must write beautifully if you write poems! Me: <<<writes haikus about coffee, Hot Cheetos, her bad knees, anime, & cursing about life & its f*ckery>>> ........Yes. #poetrycommunity #writing #writerproblems

Went in for an interview. Interviewer asks me what I like to do for fun. I said I like to write during my free time. Interviewer: Oh, you should write a book! Me: ......Yes. In my head: B*tch, if it was that easy, I wouldn't be here right now! #writerslife #writerproblems #writesky #writingcommunity
