Oh yeah, I broadly agree. I think the reason I don’t like friendslop as a term is cause it feels like a dismissive way to generalise a type of game. If there was a nicer name, I’d be more ok with that.

Make super small, low stakes things. Like poems, or sketches, or micro games. They showed me I still enjoy creating, but I was burned by the pressure I inflicted upon myself.

I’ve never actually seen the process before for people making their own cosplay. I didn’t know it could take this long with all the lil details. Makes me appreciate the art form so much more, cause of how much care and precision it requires
