As I thought, a bit more measured than twitter but still basically the same result.

I’ll remember him as the killer we needed when it mattered the most🤍

Good. It’s very hot. I’m going to hang out at a pool and read a book I’ve been saving so I feel blessed. You?

Thank you, Ange. You gave me my best moment as a supporter of this club. Will be forever grateful for what you accomplished, how you defended the club and for making the right choice when it mattered. You “dared to do” and you did it for us fans. Tottenham Hotspur legend🤍

My take on Son staying or going this summer is simple: It should be his decision. A loyal club legend and the captain who finally broke our trophy drought. He has earned the right to determine how and when to end his time at Tottenham Hotspur. 🤍🫡

The amount of revisionist history I’m seeing is getting silly. Every time someone hits me with, “Our worst Premier League record ever,” the first thing I think is, “Our worst injury crisis EVER.” Feels so disingenuous to highlight one while minimizing or downplaying the other.

These polls are always more of a reflection of what type of following the the specific account posting the poll has than what the general public think on any subject imo

Oh man, my constant gripe with this club. Couldn’t agree more lol

Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 27/05/2025
They changed people before the season. They made mistakes during this season. Ange has said they’ve improved things. I left it vague with the “fix it” bc I don’t have insight. Maybe a review is enough. Maybe they need to fire some people. I don’t want to say with little to no insight.

25/26 wishlist: 1. Keep Ange. 2. Squad: Add technical quality & experience. 3. Medical department: Fix it. 4. Training/rotation: Optimize intensity and squad utilization. 5. Philosophy: Tweak balance between idealism & pragmatism. 6. Coaching staff: Add defensive expertise.

It’s been my bad. I kind of went off social media when things got bad earlier in the spring bc it was so toxic over there. Should have just come over here where it’s nice😅
020
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 26/05/2025
Yup. And that goes for whoever is the coach.
010
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 26/05/2025
Yup. Why I’ve been consistent in supporting our coaches even when they haven’t been my cup of tea. This is the real issue. Wish more fans avoid getting distracted and focus what needs to change for us to find consistent success in multiple comps. If we don’t we’ll keep going round in circles.

Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 26/05/2025
Poch, Jose & Conte felt forced to prioritize the league over cups. Ange sacrificed the league for a trophy. So the actual and systematic issue is this club not giving coaches the resources to balance both. THAT should be the focus for those who want us to improve next season.

Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 26/05/2025
We have the same injury crisis but finish 5th but crash out of all the cups early and the same fans don’t call for his head. I’m absolutely certain.

There is an irony in the fact that those who hate Levy for prioritizing profits over glory are the least willing to trust the man who finally delivered the glory they so desperately craved—yet they trust Levy to appoint a coach better suited to secure profits.

I was just thinking the same.

Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Only reason I would bring it into a conversation about Ange’s future is to dismiss the comparison and point out how and why it’s different.

Everything else is you you arguing something I haven’t said and doesn’t have anything to do with my post lol
000
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Again, you are totally missing what this post is about, I’m only and specifically saying: 1. A European trophy is bigger that the FA cup in terms of financial impact. 2. Winning a trophy for spurs has a greater impact on our culture compared to winning an FA cup trophy has at United.

Way* 😅🤦🏾‍♂️

Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
You understand why it’s so hard to reach success when too much time passes between these moments. The way this experience has connected the fanbase and the team—and how vital that connection is to reaching glory—is immeasurable. 17years—never again🤍

Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
I agree. I think there are real issues to address, valid and why better critical arguments to be levied against this coach. But sticking with him and doing our best to be honest and addressing those issues is the better choice now imo.

Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Haha👊🏾 Tbc: I don’t think the things I listed are a good way to say — this is why Ange should stay. But I do think it’s a good way to point out why making this specific comparison is and a bad way to argue Ange should go.
100
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
go and ask that question under a post actually related to that question.
000
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
See how you agree with what i acutely wrote in my post and then added a bit at the end by saying “but it hasn’t been successful” which I never made part of my post/argument = it is off topic 😉
100
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Well, let’s agree to disagree. I think everyone knows our playing identity under Ange (even if many hate it😅) and nobody knew ETH’s at United.
000
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Again, you are not grasping what this post is about AT ALL. It’s not about HOW they won their respective trophies, or even if Ange was successful or not. It’s about how they are totally different in how they implemented their strategies on a day to day basis. Your argument is off topic.
100
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Listen, the point here was not to say everything about Ange is great, we can have that debate, this was simply about pointing out how comparing keeping ETH after the FA cup to keeping Ange now and call it a day is lazy. The context around their time at their respective clubs is too different.
120
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
I definitely think we need to make changes to how we support the coach BUT I also think Ange needs to take lessons with him into next season and make some real adjustments.
010
Si @simonyemane.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
I mean that’s such a disingenuous argument. 1. It being successful or not is not the point. It’s about that it’s THERE with one coach and NOT with the other. 2. We finished 5th last year. 3. The style isn’t why we had a horrible season. The worst injury crisis in our history is.
