Congratulations are owed to the Spanish team for a great and well-deserved World Cup win, but celebrating victory should never involve demonizing or hating another country. Stepping on the flag of a country that was not even involved in the tournament is nothing but pure hatred.

Today, we honor Anne Frank on her birthday—she would have been 97. This clip is the only known film footage of her. Two months later, her family would go into hiding. At the SWC we preserve stories like Anne's to educate and inspire future generations to stand against hatred and antisemitism.

Vandalism, intimidation, and harassment are not activism—they are crimes. Those who allegedly targeted Jewish institutions and community leaders with acts of intimidation and violence must be held accountable.
