Some gentle taps from a rubber mallet and a kind lend of some pliers and we’ve got the frame bolted together, the hulls on and inflated, and the mast together if not raised. I

My Poem/1 AI rhyming clock by @genmon.fyi is here everybody!
A lovely AI rhyming clock reading as follows:

I’m not sure this notification is anything other than noise. Sometimes it’s useful to be told when rain will start or stop, but knowing there’s a seven minute gap allows me to do… what? Nip across the road without an umbrella to post a letter? Seems un-useful.

These recommendations based on "people in a similar role to you" was pretty harsh from LinkedIn, I felt. Context: yes, I am currently unemployed, but dammit I don't need robots reminding me 😆
An array of people's profiles on LinkedIn that the LinkedIn algorithm is suggesting I connect with as they have "similar roles" to me… all the people are currently unemployed (as am I).

I wonder whether the product team got tired of people not seeing the “Download” menu item, by any chance #ux #product 🤔
The dialog with options when viewing books on the Kindle iOS app. The most prominent menu item is “DOWNLOAD” in all caps.

Deep in a hedge this morning, foraging the last elderflowers of the season. Back to the job hunting grind this afternoon.

This’ll do.
Wide rolling hills in the Peak District, carved through with valleys. In the centre of the image a small reservoir nestles, and to its left a path winds towards a distant Clough. The sun is shining.
