And really this should not be a surprise to me, I've actually done it for as long as I can remember. My art teacher in 8th or 9th grade cited it as a reason as to why I didn't get a higher grade. Which I thought was BS back then, but now I only wish he'd helped out of the habit though..

I've come to realise one of my biggest struggles creatively, is that I get stuck on waaay too much detail waay to soon and all thurough. So I'm wondering bluesky, does anyone know a good way to get out of this bad habit? Tips, practices, tools. Any advice is so very welcome!

Have been a bit low on time and motivation for my game lately. Level design has been harder than I anticipated. I've ended up adding and tweaking mechanics. But my main struggle is the early game, where I want the game to guide the player to discover movement mechanics. #screenshotsaturday

Figuring out what colors to give it thought was a bit trickier than I'd expect and I'm not sure I'm fully happy with the result, but it's definitely better.

I also tweaked the color of the chain to make it more readable, as it is an obstacle you can fall through but not get back up through I found it a bit hard too distinguish it previously.
