£10bn will not buy you an “iron dome”. More like a paper colander. Politicians making shit up. The rest of the front page of this comic is amusing, in its own way

Jim Ratcliffe, and now this guy, whose name I didn’t know. (Front page of today’s FT). I read this piece and my reaction to it is I’m suprised anyone thinks there’s a future for betting shops, with online gambling. I’d be happy to see both taxed out of existence.

Yes. Here’s an interesting photo. The roses have not been watered at all this year. They’re doing really well, on their third blooming. The Japanese Anemones, however, look like crisps.

From yesterday’s “Telegraph”. So the paper has a mole close to Burnham, or someone can’t stop blabbing, or they just want to scare off the prospect of a Chancellor who might be radical; or they just want to stoke factionalism in the Labour party.

It was jsut so apposite. The bees love them. They're blow ins. I am still developing the philosophy of the neglected garden, which is looking good at the meoment. But we're in for a dearth after this lot have finished, at least for two or three weeks.
