And unless they did the work all by themselves, they sure as shit didn't pass the work of other people as their own.

I won't speak to the lack of originality of these mods, as some of my absolute favorite Doom mods are Doom4Doom and PainSlayer, but even then, people put in the effort and time to actually code, make sprites, make low-poly models, etc. to fit the classic Doom universe.

"I did this. I did that." These AI bros did shit. At best, they were glorified idea men. At worst they're just advertisements for Claude or whatever LLM they used to make these mods.

The last game I did this for was Metroid Prime 4... I think I'll read a few reviews before I drop $70 on a game.

I successfully spent most of my day in potato mode, I think I'm ready to face the week and all of the challenges it will send my way i.e. I'm ready for all these dang video games holy crud why is October so packed. I don't wanna work tho, can I take the rest of the century off?

Also, Blood West and Mouse, P.I. are being moved back a day each because the algorithm™️ requires immediate response to events otherwise I get sent to the gulag.

Hello, fellow humans. I will not be posting a schedule for this week, but expect a busier week than normal, as I'll be playing Nivalis Nights and RetroSpace in addition to Blood West, Mouse, P.I. For Hire, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Today is one of those days where I wanna stay in bed, grab my Steam Deck and play DOOM WADs all day, so no schedule today. It’ll be tomorrow. P.S. It’ll be a busier week than usual because I don’t wanna finish Deus Ex and Blood West before starting Nivalis Nights and RetroSpace.

Hello, fellow humans. Due to the overwhelming number of new games releasing next month, I will be delaying my plans to play the DLCs for both Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Blood West to a later date. May the Outsider never notice you, Simon Novak

Hello, fellow humans. Something came up and I may have to postpone or cancel today's stream. If I cancel, we'll just stream Mouse, P.I. For Hire tomorrow. Happy Thursday(Unless you live somewhere without a Thursday then, uh 🤷‍♂️), Simon Novak

I spent several minutes just on this settings page, debating with myself whether I should go all-out with the film & sound degradation or with a more restrained presentation. (I opted for the Director's Cut setting) (Game is Mouse, P.I. for Hire)

A Screen Shot of Mouse, P.I. for Hire, showing the possible options to degrate the look & feel of the game so it looks more like a 1920s Mickey Mouse cartoon. Currently, the Director's Cut setting is selected, showing a nice middle ground between not looking too degraded for my eyes and ears while not looking too sharp, either.
