We do "World Cup of..." often. Biscuits and crisps often feature. You draw up a list of entries and do a random draw to determine fixtures. You know, pink wafers vs Custard Creams and steadily they get eliminated until you have a winner.

I made scotch eggs. Bit of a fiddly process, and the frying was rather tough to get right. On the dark side but very tasty, and the runny yolk is a personal triumph almost worthy of a LinkedIn endorsement.
