Behaviorally, we observed a double dissociation. The experimental neurofeedback led to benefits in AUT performance, while the motor control neurofeedback led to benefits in Go/No-Go performance.

Participants completed two tasks. Alternate Uses Task (AUT) : Measures creative performance. Go/No-Go Task : Measures motor performance and sustained attention.

Participants were assigned to either an experimental or control neurofeedback condition. Experimental Neurofeedback : Entraining coupling between DMN and ECN Motor Control Neurofeedback : Entraining coupling between DMN and a motor control region.

This was a two-day study. Day (1) : Participants completed a pre-neurofeedback baseline on our creativity and control task. Then, they took part in the neurofeedback. Day (2) : Participants completed the post-neurofeedback measurement
