We've just launched the Kickstarter for my gamebook saga 'The Curse of Cthulhu Books 1 & 2'! Travel to a remote Scottish island, infiltrate a deadly cult and find the idol - or die trying! Art by @willirobertsart.bsky.social & @lyndondraws.bsky.social www.kickstarter.com/projects/sim...

Hardback mockups of The Curse of Cthulhu Book 1 and The Curse of Cthulhu Book 2. Book 1 cover is the external of a Gothic cathedral with giant tentacles coming over the top of it, and sea spray at the bottom. The colour is mostly dark greens, with some blood orange for the windows. Book 2 cover is of a cathedral organ, its pipes turning into tentacles at the top, and two large Elder God shaped creatures adorning it like gargoyles. Both hardbacks are set against a glowing green background.

In celebration of 1k followers (thank you), here's a couple of photos from yesterday's visits to Alloa Tower and Culross with @mariellewrites.bsky.social! People who know my love of unicorns will appreciate the second one!

On the roof of Alloa Tower - like a small child, I'm hiding with only a bit of my face visible.

I'm pointing at a unicorn atop a column in Culross. For some reason, I'm not a fan of unicorns. Or elves. Or rhubarb. None of it makes sense.

Had this set for a while and finally allowed myself a little downtime to make it! Always wanted to own a book shop! May you find some time to rest during this holiday period.

My comic 'One More Year' arrived this morning, and it looks amazing! Words by me, art by Pietro, letters by @robjoneswrites.bsky.social , published by @bluefoxcomics.bsky.social

Front cover of One More Year, a graphic novella published by Blue Fox Comics. It depicts octogenarian Ophelia, standing behind a stone wall that she's building, whilst behind her, Jacob, a man in a suit and a clipboard stands. Behind them is a lawn of orange/yellow grass, with a tree to the left and Ophelia's white, two storey farmhouse to the right.

Back cover of graphic novella 'One More Year' by Blue Fox Comics, showing a close up of a grey stone wall. A scorpion sits atop the wall. To the right we can see Ophelia's white, two storey farmhouse. The blurb reads 'Every year, Ophelia receives a visit from the mysterious Jacob, who always offers her the same deal - five million dollars for her soul - but each time, she declines. This year, however, Ophelia has a proposal of her own.'
