Other mum here. Just checking in. Baba & I are making our routines but something's switched in her mind & she is determined to be outside... almost all the time. Her couch-potato gene has been turned off! I get it- the house reminds her but she's in full sentinel mode now.

I lived in museums when i was younger,particularly the Brooklyn Museum and the Met and some smaller ones,all had their Own style.Oh,have to mention the old original Dali museum in florida, it was exciting, you could get right up to the paintings.Anyone remember the Louvre before it was modernized?

Nothing fancy,displays were literal.(It was a secret place for me to be.)I would take the train to Harlem and walk North.It was the contents that were spectacular.The originally building was mildy decorative and had a small courtyard shared with the Numismatic Society collection. 2 of 3

Ok ok, stop . I as a teenager frequented and spent many! many! many hours in the original museum in Manhattan. I loved not only the content, but the accessibility, drawers and drawers one could open and see the contents up close, and sometimes felt. A very victorian collection type. 1 of 2
