Hi #PortfolioDay! I'm Simi aka SimiOfDoom and I am a freelance illustrator and graphic designer from germany. I mostly work in in the field of tabletop RPGs and cultural events. Portfolio: simonebannach.myportfolio.com itch: simiofdoom.itch.io #TTRPG #artsky

Illustration of a lady with outrageously up-done hair holding a skull-headed raven on her clawed hand. She wears partial armor and has one magically mutated hand. In the background, huge blackguards stand watch.

Page spread of an adventure zine for the ttrpg system Pirate Borg showing a dungeon map in an underwater crevice. The adventure module is called Rungholt - bells from the depths and transplants the setting of Pirate Borg from the Dark Caribbean to the stormy Noth Sea; pulling from German folklore for Inspiration.

Illustration of a dark and somewhat mysterious castle situated in an autumnal forest. Lightning zooms between metallic contraptions affixed to its towers. the Image is shaped in the form of a hexagon, because it is the picture side of a hex-shaped business card. (A project with other german indie rpg creatives, where every one of us will contribute a hex to eventually have a full map of them)

Black and White illustration of a curious medieval village situated on the side of a mountain. In the back and on the very top of the mountain sits a huge old castle gazing upon all, while in the very foreground the graveyard of the village hides behind high walls. Some of the houses in the village are shaped like (al-)chemical implements. Four speech bubbles with portraits in them show the general location of the NPCs of the adventure. It is a map for a system-agnostic investigative adventure.

I have been really into maps and what maps can be 8creatively) lately! Here is a funky little #sketch for a funky little (blog) project I am taking part in this coming August! #TTRPG

Rough sketch of a fantasy map showing a late medieval town on top of a mountain. A somewhat sinister and huge castle sits on the summit, flanked by a vineyard. Some of the houses in the town are weirdly shaped like chemical flasks. There are also speech-bubbles showing the general positions of some characters, two alchemists, a count and a lady seemingly living on the grounds of the local graveyard.

illustration of a cute squirrel like creature clearly plotting the viewers downfall and being smug about it.

illustration of a lizard creature sweating profusely and being incredibly nervous.

Digital illustration of a horde of watery zombies with glowing teal eyes menacing the viewer. Blackletter font belonging to an rpg stat block reads: "Restless Souls".

#Wipwednesday - documenting the making of a short Pirate Borg Adventure for the System Matters Zine Contest '26! Week2: Adventures in the Sea of Public Domain art and trying to work on the plain text first, failing at that and instead making more art then plastering text on it lol The map:

Illustrated map of the drowned city of Rungholt. Five Point markers are attacged to different structures, that will be explorable in the adventure.
