Made dinner for my bestie. First a roasted salmon with a creamy dill sauce and bread crumbs. Accompanied with roasted potatoes and then butternut squash dressed in maple syrup and a bit of crushed chile flakes. Really like how everything came together here.

This is one of my best desserts! My homemade tiramisu. Layers of ladyfingers soaked in rum and espresso, with a whipped custard, shaved chocolate and whipping cream on top with cocoa powder and more chocolate. Tiramisu is a simple dessert but all these ingredients come together for a special time.

Here is what I made for the dinner party last night. 4 courses - Pomegranate Lime Gin Cocktail - Rye Bread with Fig Jam, Goat Cheese, Raspberries and Bourbon Honey - Breaded Chicken with Kale Broccoli Salad and Corn Bread - Chocolate Orange Cheesecake I think one of my best menus overall. ♥️🤤

Salmon hash overtop potatoes with a bit of chive lemon sour cream on top. Great time for fresh veggies and market potatoes and peppers taste good. Just a nice one pot dish that really hits the spot. This is also a good dish for cheaper cuts of salmon that you find at the grocery store sometimes!

God this hit the spot after a long day. Sausage saute with beans, arugula and croutons. But the real star was this bruschetta with tomatoes, basil, garlic and a bit of olive oil. Everything was so fresh and burst in my mouth. I may finish it off if by making homemade peach ice-cream tonight. 👀

I got invited to a nice dinner tomorrow so I want to be prepared! First we have brown butter corn bread. Brown butter always improves everything! Then we have this chocolate cake that is a bit closer to like a lave cake in texture served with a raspberry sauce. Both finished in about 2 hours.

So glad I can finally eat this pistachio dip! Ground pistachios with Greek feta, goat cheese and dried mint. Topped with a bit of honey and chopped pistachios. Honestly its soooo good and the dried mint just balances everything perfectly.

No matter how much work it is hosting it is just in my blood. I love it! First watermelon fresca with mint syrup and lemon. Very refreshing. I made a beautiful cheese fondue with oil, garlic, herbs and red pepper flakes. Just dip your bread in! Finally the orange white chocolate mousse cake.

Whipped up this cherry-almond clafoutis last night. I love how French desserts always look fancy, but are relatively simple to make. Juicy cherries baked in a custard with sliced almonds. Very simple. Looking forward to serving it tonight to my friends. 🥰

I don't normally post pictures from restaurants but I'm making an exception. This was one of the best meals I've had in my entire life! First Course: Cheese fondue with a parsnip puree. Second Course: Duck confit on white beans. Third Course: Buckwheat pastry with hazelnut cream and birch syrup.

Made chicken cacciatore last night. There is a French version and an Italian version. Mine is closer to the French with more mushrooms and some brandy. This looks impressive, but honestly you can easily make this too! Takes a little time to get going but the final result was perfection. Very tasty!

Here is some Pistachio Frozen Yogurt with Salted Caramel Sauce. I got a little too excited about using caradomon so the colour is less to be desired. But the flavour rocks! The flaked sea salt, with the sweet caramel and buttery pistachios is quite the combination. Always shell pistachios yourself!

The broccoli salad cast a weird shadow. Here we have sweet-soy marinated chicken glazed over night in honey, ginger, garlic and soy sauce. The result is very tender and juicy. The broccoli salad is a classic! Raw broccoli with a mayo-mustard dressing plus sunflower seeds, raisins, cheese and onion.

Perhaps too tempting for the morning but carbanara is a very easy pasta to make on a tight schedule. All you really need is pasta, eggs, bacon and parmesan. I cheated and added edamame for colour and healthy. The better quality bacon was definitely worth it and added a lot of flavour.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Captain Toad Treasure Tracker?! It was one of the best game's on the Wii U that made use of the dual screen. The puzzles were so unique and it was so fun and fresh. I'm glad it got ported and I hope one day we get a sequel. I of course had to buy the amiibo!
