How do we turn enhanced rock weathering measurements into credible carbon credits? Our new preprint links field evidence, geochemical constraints and uncertainty to auditable CO₂ removal claims. Feedback welcome! #CDR #ERW essopenarchive.org/doi/full/10....

From Field Trial to Carbon Register: Evidence Gaps and an Auditable Earth-Information Architecture for Verifiable Enhanced Weathering | ESS Open Archive
Enhanced rock weathering on managed land could become a meaningful carbon dioxide removal pathway before 2040, but only if removals can be verified. The difficulty is structural: durable removal is in...

Advances in Soil Carbon Sequestration: Processes, Management, and Scalable Storage
Soils show promising potential for carbon sequestration, with the capacity to store carbon in both organic (SOC) and inorganic (SIC) forms over extended timescales. Approaches including biochar additi...

The "missing lead paradox" has been like having a history book with crucial pages torn out – we know something important is missing from our understanding of how Earth evolved. In our new paper in Nature Communications, we propose a mineral-physics solution. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Hidden pressure-stabilized lead reservoirs in Earth’s mantle - Nature Communications
High-pressure Pb-S phases stable in Earth’s lower mantle provide a mechanism for long-term sequestration and episodic remobilization of lead, offering a plausible explanation for the missing lead para...
