And speaking of WoL and Zenos... here's In from the Cold, part 1, wherein Zenos discovers that WoL's body has some interesting features #FFXIV

FFXIV comic page 1
Zenos, in WoL's body, lifts his head and sits up, summoning a slither of darkness. WoL, in a Garlean soldier's body, watches from a distance.
Zenos: ...Huh.

FFXIV comic page 2
Zenos (allowing the darkness to manifest into demonic anatomy, changing his hands to claws, growing horns on his head, and lengthening his canines): Well... well... well.

FFXIV comic page 3
Zenos (flying up, commanding WoL's body half-transformed into a winged Voidsent): Such glorious destructive malevolence... and you DARED to keep it from me? Have I not earned your deference? Am I unworthy of your devotion?
Zenos (looming over WoL): This is the blackest betrayal, my friend. It wounds me more than any weapon.

FFXIV page 4
WoL: You don't understand- That form doesn't belong to me- I can't control it-
Zenos (grabbing WoL by the throat): Interesting. Then shall we find out if I can?

Here's another old personal favourite, now tagged and with alt text. What's the point of being the Warrior of Light if you can't throw your weight around once in a while? #FFXIV

FFXIV comic page 1. Asahi faces the WoL, who is regarding him neutrally.
Asahi: Go on. Lash out like the beast you are. At an emissary. And jeopardise the newfound peace between Doma and the Empire. My lord was destined to lead us unto a glorious new age. Your light is -nothing- to his radiance.

FFXIV comic page 2
WoL (smirks): ... Is that so.
WoL (leans in and claps a hand on Asahi's shoulder, to speak close to his ear): I lapped the blood from your lord's neck, at -his- behest. My light far outshone his, and that's what drew him to me.

FFXIV comic page 3
WoL: Zenos's truest desire was a power that challenged his own... and you were delusional enough to think he would ever favour -you-?
(Asahi steps back, slapping the WoL's hand away)

FFXIV comic page 4
(Asahi looks either fearful or mortified or both, as the WoL stands before him with a smile, face formed of shadows)
WoL: Poor little dog... your affections are misguided. Now run along home. And don't -ever- bare your teeth at me again.

pssst hey video friends...... if u use cammy in the open world, enter freecam mode, and then press tab (or whichever button you have set for tab targeting) it makes the camera position static and you resume control of your character again... very good for filming sprinting and mounted movement
