MR isn’t a debate, more a conversation though. He is a great debater imo, using his timing to relax the opponent and then snare the opp in the trap he laid out. He is very knowledgeable and seems to be doing it just for sport. To each their own.

I think you are correct! If the moon had more complexity by adding more deeper shades for crates or just rounding out the crescent it might be more spookier. The details in the foreground are so damn nice! I would want the background to match. Then again, it is a stylistic choice.
