This is a constitutional crisis. Trump just said to El Salvador’s President he wants to start deporting American citizens to the notoriously torturous El Salvador prisons. It’s especially noteworthy because while Trump did include violent criminals, also said ANY criminals. 🧵⬇️

This wasn’t strength. It was a setup. Trump said the tariffs were here to stay. He said it was about rebuilding America and holding other countries accountable.

Trump didn’t “blink” or is “bad at trade”. Trump knew exactly what he was doing. The entire tariff scheme was about market manipulation, aka insider trading, to further enrich the elite class & consolidate power and wealth. That distinction is incredibly important to understand
