One of my favorite stupid food hobbies is veganizing vintage recipes. This was originally mild Crock-Pot shrimp curry, but I swapped in pressed tofu for shrimp and a homemade base for canned soup. The tofu absorbed the sauce a bit and made for a more pleasing texture than shrimp, imo.
