Like a brilliant, delightful harvest moon, life around here has been full—in the best kind of way! I just finished my Country Cozy quilt. I really like this one because I changed the center a bit by adding rag quilt blocks within the body of the quilt. There’s nothing like the feeling you get when you sew the last stitch, spread out your work, step back, and think, ‘This one turned out just right.’ Each one seems to take on a life of its own, and this one really has that welcoming, homey vibe that reminds me of playful, spooky, crisp nights, and a favorite scary movie!

Harvest Gelli Printing: From Spirit Walk to Spellwork by Silver RavenWolf Every year I normally hold an Herbfest, inviting family and magickal friends for a feast and a share of the harvest from our garden. This year, due to health issues, I couldn’t plant or maintain the garden as I normally would. I realized our usual Herbfest wasn’t possible. I decided to create a WildFest and combine it with our Fall Equinox celebration.

Eclipse Season - Summer of 2026 by Silver RavenWolf The Eclipse Season this summer extends from two weeks prior to the Solar Eclipse (which this year was on August 12) to two weeks after the following Lunar Eclipse on August 28th (approximately September 12). Such seasons are particularly helpful in our everyday practices as well as in planning magical objectives (rituals, spells, meditations, rites) since the energy usually brings to light turning points, endings, and opportunities that we had not previously seen.

Silver Butterfly Lammas 2026 Digital Newsletter The first harvest is ripening—and Silver Butterfly is ready to celebrate! The Lammas 2026 issue of the Silver Butterfly Newsletter is a beautifully designed, 21-page digital collection filled with seasonal wisdom, practical magick, creative projects, astrology, ritual, food, divination, and inspiration for the road ahead. Begin with a look at the changing season and the traditional work of Lammas.

Pip: Silver RavenWolf has been busy — recovering from surgery, reading the cosmos, and apparently doing both at the same time, which honestly tracks. Mara: This episode covers two territories: a deeply practical guide to surgery preparation and recovery, drawing on personal experience and spiritual technique, and a look at what Uranus moving into Gemini means for how we think, communicate, and change.

The first issue of The Silver Butterfly is now available — a bright, healing, magick-filled 12-page newsletter created for summer renewal, spiritual rhythm, gentle personal power, and everyday enchantment. This issue is designed to help you move through the season with more awareness, beauty, and intention. Inside, you will find practical magick, moon wisdom, seasonal inspiration, simple ritual work, spiritual reflection, and small sacred actions you can actually use in your daily life.

This article is the third piece in my surgery-healing series. The first, Nine Magickal Days Before Surgery, delivered practical and spiritual ways to prepare, reduce stress, and ready the heart, mind, and spirit for the way forward. The second, 13 Days of Magick: Post-Surgery Healing Techniques, focused on the tender beginning of recovery, those first strange, sacred days when the body is bruised, the mind is watchful, and the spirit is learning how to breathe again.

A Note Before You Begin This piece is a reading meditation, inviting a spoken release and a sacred conversation between you and the disease, pain, fear, or unwanted condition that no longer serves your life. This approach of speaking directly to the condition is inspired by Marisa Peer, whose teachings highlight the power of using clear, intentional language to address the body, mind, and inner self.

Boobs, Blessings, and Healing Magickby Silver RavenWolf Last summer, I found a lump. Like many people, I did not sprint immediately to the doctor with my hair on fire and a clipboard full of sensible decisions. I told myself I would handle it after the holidays. There were things to do, people to care for, traditions to honor, cookies to bake, candles to pour, a sock-war to orchestrate, errands to run, and — let’s be honest — a generous helping of “maybe this will be nothing” tucked neatly into the back of my mind.

Uranus in Gemini: The Great AwakeningBy Silver RavenWolf Uranus in Gemini? What the heck is that? Does it matter? If you are looking for a boost? This energy package waltzing your way brings a burst of brilliance, disruption, curiosity, and change. You might have noticed a lively uptick last summer into fall, and again starting in February, as the BIG planet of Uranus moved closer to the border between Taurus and Gemini.

Nine Magickal Days To SurgeryPractical and spiritual ways to prepare, reduce stress, and ready the heart, mind, and spirit. By Silver RavenWolf An unusual energy fills the days before surgery—a calm center edged with tension. There is much to do, yet the spirit urges quiet contemplation for steadiness and empowerment. The choice is made; now, we prepare. Life keeps going during this time.

13 Days of Magick - Post-Surgery Healing Techniques Small sacred acts for the first tender days of recovery By Silver RavenWolf There comes a time in healing when the world grows very small. A blanket. A chair. A careful step. A patch of sunlight on the bed. A glass of water. The soft shuffle of medication bottles. The hush of the afternoon.

Day 31 Theme: Finish strong, seal the work, celebrate the turning, and step into 2026 with a clean smile and a clear mind. Reward: 20 Stars Magickal Moment Tonight the Boogie Knight Castle belongs to Nuit Sparkletooth, the Tooth Fairy with a tool belt full of floss and a pocket full of matches. She is the kingdom’s dental guardian as well as its pyrotechnic expert, which means she can lecture you about sugar, then set the sky on fire in the prettiest way imaginable.

Day 30 Theme: See the Unseen. Reward: 20 Stars. It's true. Guests entering your living space bring more than just casseroles and coats. They arrive with moods, worries, old stories, jealousy, grief, pain, ravenous secrets, fears, medical and financial woes, and hidden desires. Some people show up like sunlight and good perfume, while others are more like a suitcase that's about to burst.

Day 29 Theme: Preparing for 2026, the quiet power of switching over, tightening up, and stepping into the new year on purpose. Reward: 20 Stars Magickal Moment: Auntie Moana sweeps into the great hall humming a tune so bright it could shake dust off a chandelier, and the Countess follows with a basket of fresh pens, a stack of crisp pages, and that look that says, we are doing this properly.

Day 28 Theme: Honor, celebrate, and seal, because it is Sunday, December 28, and there are only four days (including this one) left in the Great Release Program. Reward: 10 Stars Magickal Moment: The castle is quieter today, not because the Boogers have stopped being Boogers, but because even they can feel the program beginning to turn toward its ending. The Countess sets a long cloth on the great table and lays out small treasures gathered from the month, a bit of ribbon, a tiny bell, a candle stub, a pine sprig, a smooth stone, ordinary things that became symbols because you showed up.

Day 27 Theme: Return, repair, and release, tying up loose ends so the season stops rattling in your brain. Reward: 10 Stars Magickal Moment RattleBones, the youngest of the Ten Little Boogers prances into the hall with that sweet half-grin and those bright eyes that look like tiny lanterns. When he moves you hear the faint click of bead-bones and trinkets.

Day 26 - Kitchen Witchery! Theme: Gather, glow, and grace, the day after holiday fun can feel like a snow globe that got shaken hard. Reward: 10 Stars Magickal Moment — Chef Marmalade, Head Chef of Boogie Knight Castle The first thing you notice when you push open the kitchen door at Boogie Knight Castle is the smell, not just food, but comfort wearing a crown.

Day 25 Theme: A holy day for many, a regular day for others, and a tender day for anyone who feels out of step with the season. Reward: 10 Stars Many readers are celebrating Christmas today, others may be honoring Hanukkah, Yule, the Twelve Days, Kwanzaa, Bodhi Day, Winter Solstice traditions that continue through the week, or simply taking a quiet family day that has nothing to do with any calendar at all.

Day 24 - Welcome Belschnickel! Theme: Winter Tradition Reward: 20 Stars Belschnickel comes out of old German winter tradition—especially the Palatinate region—carried across the ocean in the suitcases and stories of immigrants, and it took root so deeply in Pennsylvania Dutch country that, for a lot of us, he never felt like a “legend,” he felt like a possibility. My Pennsylvania Dutch grandparents spoke of him the way you’d speak of weather: you didn’t argue whether he was real, you just minded your manners in case he showed up.

DAY 23 — Landing Zones, The Jingle Bell Relay Theme - Landing Zones, because the next stretch of the season brings more movement, more people, more packages, more coats, more snacks, more everything, and clutter loves high-traffic weeks the way cats love warm laundry. Reward - 10 Stars Magickal Moment - Madame SeesAll calls the Little Boogers into the Great Hall with a soft laugh and the delightful tinkle of jingle bells that sounds like clean air.

DAY 22 — The RuneMaster’s Visit Theme - Today launches into “major party week” across the world, so we’re keeping this day light, interesting, and fun, without letting the season boss us around. Reward - 10 Stars Magickal moment - A stranger arrives at Boogie Knight Castle just before dusk, not loud, not flashy, but impossible to ignore. He calls himself the RuneMaster, and he wears a dark blue clothing stitched with small glowing runes that glint when firelight hits them.

Day 21 - Yule at Booger Knight Castle Grandpa Headless was already halfway out the stable door when Buzzy Booger came skittering up, bundled in a black snowsuit with sparkles that made her look like a festive licorice gumdrop with feet. “Good,” Grandpa said. “You’re early.” He climbed onto the Bone Wagon with the confidence of a man who had built it himself—and then, with great ceremony, he set his pumpkin head on the wagon seat between his body and Buzzy Booger.

DAY 20 — OverView The next several days can get wonderfully busy, and sometimes a little overwhelming, because so many people are moving through meaningful religious observances and family traditions. Schedules tighten, emotions run high, kitchens turn into command centers, and the to-do list starts multiplying like it has its own agenda. So here’s my personal challenge as we move forward - I’m going to keep these days light, interesting, and fun, even while we’re all juggling real life.

Day 19 – PartyHearty the Event Coordinator Theme: PartyHearty, dressed in silver snowflakes and a red stocking cap helps you prepare for hosting a party or for being your most glamorous when attending one, or doing a little of both! PartyHearty wants to ensure that the fun shows up first and the stress gets turned away at the door! Reward: …

DAY 18 — UNDER (The Underland Reclaim) Theme: UNDER, all things under, under the bed, under the kitchen counter, under the sink, under the bathroom cabinet, under the stairs, under the desk, under the sofa cushions, under the car seats, under anywhere you’ve been quietly pretending doesn’t count. Reward: 10 Stars Magickal Moment:  Auntie Web sets a small iron cauldron in the foyer of the castle and gives it a slow, dramatic stir as if she’s cooking up courage itself.

Day 17 — Madame SeesAll’s Lost & Found Day ThemeToday belongs to the things that slip between cushions, hide under beds, vanish into purses, and disappear into the Bermuda Triangle of your junk drawer. It’s about bringing lost items back into the light, reclaiming little pieces of your daily life, and easing that constant, low-level “Where did I put…?” hum that eats your time and your nerves.

The Great Release Program 2025: A Living Creative Process (and a Gentle Reminder You’re Doing It Right) by Silver RavenWolf Every year, when I sit down to create The Great Release Program, I feel the same mix of excitement and holy-wow-what-have-I-started? emotions. I look forward to the task and yet trepidation lurks. Writing and creating the artwork for 32 days straight is a challenge in itself.

DAY 16 — PopPop Gearheart’s Garage Day Theme — Choosing a Lane - Finding the PathReward: 20 stars (you’ll earn it, lol) Today belongs to the places where things pile up “for later”—the garage, shed, workshop, craft room, or that mystery corner that quietly turned into the Land of Abandoned Projects. This is where “I might need that someday” goes to breed, where half-finished repairs lurk, and where good intentions sit under a fine layer of dust.

The Booger Knight Family Blessing Yule Presents DAY 15 — Break Day at Boogie Knight Castle Theme — Rest, Catch-Up, and Gentle IntegrationReward: 10 Gold Stars! Today is a Break Day in the Great Release Program, a built-in pause where the castle clocks run a little slower, the Boogers are shooed out into the courtyard to play, and even the Count and Countess loosen their shoulders and take a breath.

DAY 14 — Sir Lumen Brightdome’s Lantern of Truth Day Theme: Illumination and Clear Seeing Reward: 7 Gold Stars Magickal Moment:Late tonight, when the castle grows quiet and the Boogie Knight children finally tumble into their beds, SparkleWeb’s husband, Sir Lumen Brightdome, climbs the narrow stone steps of the highest tower. He carries no lantern in his hand because he…
