I'd pay good money to see Vin Diesel and Anna Kendrick try and save an acapella singing group on an alien planet full of nocturnal predators who hunt by echolocation... Pitch Black Perfect

Caught the Aurora over the Sangres de Cristo mountains tonight. Not a great pic, but it shows the reddish purple of the high altitude glow (oxygen)

I finally finished this, the b@stard ukulele from hell. Took 4 tries at the fretboard, 2 on the neck. Wired with a piezo pick up and sounds pretty darn good.

Shady moose cigar box ukulele. Piezo pickup with pre-amp.

Thanks for reminding me of my bestest friend, Aslan. He'd blow out his cruciate ligaments (knees) when this picture was taken. I had to carry him down the stairs from the balcony to the back yard for a year. And worth it, every day. God, I miss him.

So, I took a class on "sinking a metal bowl". Way fun. I think I had more fun "finishing it". Put the bowl in vinegar to put the verdigris on it like I wanted and had a surprise. Not sure how I managed to get those concentric rings around the lip.

Strange concentric rings on my copper bowl.

Kind of hard to see. This is one of my favorite signs yesterday. Little girl on her dad's shoulders carrying a sign that said" hands off My future"l." Not shown is her mother carrying a sign that says hands off my present.

Went to a local meetup for people who are interested in making instruments. Someone there tried my cigar box electric bass (ubass). Short sample:

Hey everyone. Finally moving here from the bad place. I have a pretty high for DERP. But dang, it's getting bad over at that other place. You might not remember the name, but maybe you remember my favorite picture from here in NM
