"Hehe..." Seeing how slowly he got out of her lap, Emilia chuckled. He probably realized he couldn't lay there forever, but even if he hadn't Emilia wouldn't of minded much. -

"Alright, wait just a second!" With that, Emilia would stand up and proceed to leave the room, closing the door behind her and giving him time alone to be in his thoughts. After approximately 30 minutes, the half-elf would return, holding a bowl golden stew filled with chicken and potatos. -

"Don't you understand how unnecessarily cruel you're being? Treating something like that which people made for happiness...it's just wrong!"

Hey, that's mean! I'm sure a child could've appreciated that!"

Soothingly, Emilia placed a palm to his cheek and stroked it, smiling down at him as he rested. "Hehe, you did a very brave thing, Subaru. Because of you, I'm sure that those children will have a Christmas to remember." -

Ah, then you're a nice person. Being that willing to accommodate others...

"Ah, no." Despite her confusion, if there's one thing that Emilia realized, it was that talking with this person would likely get her 𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. She understood by now that the woman in front of her had good intentions but would sadly prove unhelpful. Still. -

Urgh, just where was she?! Emilia let out an annoyed pout as she continued walking throughout the strange city, pedestrians continuing to bump into her. She tried asking directions, only to be rudely ignored and brushed to the side like she was a nuisance. -

She's been letting @sterbenshall.bsky.social sleep away the day on her lap. He really worked hard pretending to be Santa for the kids at Arlam during the past two days...

Not wanting to disturb his flow, Emilia would simply sit down beside him and 𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩. After that exchange earlier, Emilia understood how important his art was even though she had no talent for artistry herself. -

@silverhalfelf.bsky.social For the Half-Elf of great ambition and pure heart... A crystalline jewel that floats on the palm. It dazzles in the light, reflecting brilliant colors that it captures and allows it to shine even in the darkness. Much like herself.

"Lugunica. I'm a half-elf from Lugunica." Chances were if Emilia had no idea where this woman was from, then it was likely that it'd be the same for her. But she didn't want to be rude.

Relaxing here shoulders, Emilia inwardly heaved a sigh to calm her nerves. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵. She was being judgmental of a person who hadn't done anything to wrong her, for all she knew he could've just been born with a scary aura while being extremely kind-hearted in actuality. -

Emilia would stare worriedly, hands still resting upon her thighs before titling her head in utter confusion. "....I'm sorry, but I 𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 don't understand what you mean." -

"Mm..." Holding her tray of sweets, Emilia eyed the man suspicious, 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 about him making her instincts flare up as if warning her. But still, she didn't want to be rude. "Alright, take some. But not too much, okay? Some people haven't had any yet!"

Real? Cosplay? Emilia quickly found herself confused by the woman's question, but quickly, she composed herself. "I don't know what you mean by 'cosplay', but my ears are very real."

"Heyyyyyyy!" She called out, her cheeks swelling into a pout. Eh, she wasn't really upset with him calling her pretty. It felt nice. If he called her pretty, then that would mean he also would think of her mother Fortuna pretty as well. "Beautiful...." -

"My name's Emilia. And yes, I'm an elf, but the more correct term would be 𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘧-𝘦𝘭𝘧. As for where you are, I already answered that, but it probably wasn't specific enough for you, huh? My bad. Well, the mansion is in Lugunica. Since I found you nearby, I assumed that you were from around here." -
