As you might understand, our story has 2 main parts, which are Act 1 & 2. In the first act, you will play a villain becoming Gus that doesn’t get attention of people as a true villain! But in act 2, you will become the villain Gus, where people will know you… And gets scared from you! 👇

Quests: Because there is also a part where you code these quests into the game. This is another huge step and it takes great amount of time. In our case, the design of all the quests are done, but only the 30-40% of the mare coded into the game.

Quests: The story of a game is most commonly gets passed to the players via quests. So the details in the quests should reflect the story flow. And this was just the quest designing part…

Environment: No matter how good story and mechanics a game have, if it doesn’t have a great environment, it will not be playable. Also it should have a art style matching with the story and genre. Since it is a detailed thing to complete, this was the toughest part. It was also the longest one, too.

Character movements: First thing a player will do when open the game will be to press “W” and move Gus. So the character movements are the most important mechanics of the game. That’s why this was the second step that we have completed.

The story: Gus is not just a simple seagull that likes chaos, he was forced to be a villain. There is a story that begins with an innocent Gus and ends with him being a brutal villain that does everything for revenge! Since story was an important part of the game, completing it was our first step.
