A little something different for the Spooky Month pic. This outfit comes from @whimzee.bsky.social and looked like a fun time. Guess Sunni's going to be doing some time. =p #OCArt #Art #NoAI #Sunni #SpookyMonth #Seisoprisoner #DTIYS

A Spooky Month pic of Sunni as a prisoner. The outfit was designed by Whimzee.

NGL, would be hilarious if Adobe starts being upset about this vibe coded slop version of their suite. Adobe wants to use Al to steal from it's users, now someone's using Al to steal from Adobe. Circle of life, baby! I wouldn't use it, though... don't need to touch the cursed objects.

People get really weird when something they use is inaccessible... even when they get full warning of it ahead of time. Like, they had the maintenance planned. XD God, reminds me of my MMO days when people would lose their mind when they went past *estimated* patch time and the game wasn't up.

Spooky Month continues with Tira. From the depths she has been summoned... but for what purpose? #OCArt #Art #NoAI #Tira #SpookyMonth #Halloween

My lizard OC Tira dressed as a demon for Spooky Month. She's on her knees sitting on a summoning circle.

Follow their rules or not, the hellsite will bury you regardless. So much nicer over here even if BS has some jank to still iron out.

This is the perfect time of the year to bring the cute spooder back. ^w^

Congrats! Hopefully this won't be an issue anymore. Hopefully just adhering to the labels (as jank as they are) will do the job.

That is one tasty looking borg you got right there. =p

Naw... just hanging from the ceiling. The little guy climbed away and that was that. =p

Wasn't a baby, but I remember a time where I was working on a pic in my room, when suddenly something appeared in the top of my vision between myself and the computer screen. I look to see a spider slowly dropping down a foot in front of my face. I said "Well, hello there..." and it climbed away.

Oh god... sorry to hear. Anyways, happy birthday!

Congratulations! There's a lot to explore now and you won't see a major challenge for a little bit at least. You got through the real barrier to entry with Godrick and Margit. Have fun!

It's not even the IP it's based on - even the source of the trend itself is full of misogyny, transphobia and some even more distressing things. It's like an iceberg of "nope". Even beyond that, even on the surface level, people *had* to know this was going to end poorly.

Ryan SilverFox @silverfoxr.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I don't think that's the usual magic rod a witch uses...🤔 ...not that I'm complaining...😏

I am glad you're at least making an apology and taking it down, but sadly, other people have doubled or even tripled down on the trend and many of them have seen a sharp loss of followers for that reason. In the future, I'd consider looking into a trend even on a surface level before jumping on it.

Ryan SilverFox @silverfoxr.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Unfortunately, the problem with following trends blindly runs into the problem of following trends that can be harmful. In this case, the current trend people seem to be clout chasing is an iceberg of toxicity from the franchise itself to the creator of the trend. It's layers on layers of bigotry.

From what I hear, the person behind the trend's using misogynistic terms and has already told people not to do trans versions, so there's literally no upside to the TERF clout chase. Just don't do it.

I mean, if you want people to share in your suffering, sure! Just make sure you have the volume up for maximum ear bleed. XD

Naaaaw... if you like the character, you can still draw them. =p And hey, if you're worried about it, you could always check out Miriam from Bloodstained... she's pretty much a spiritual successor to Shanoa. =p

Ryan SilverFox @silverfoxr.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

There's a reason my friend calls him High Hax. =p Anyways, I'm pretty sure the solution is that you need to hit him with two back to back charged shots, one to break the shield and the other to damage him. =p

Ryan SilverFox @silverfoxr.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Honestly it would be fun to do just do some sketches that you don't necessarily want to finish (or finish down the line if you feel like it later), though I totally know that feeling too. I can never just draw something up and not ink it... then flats... then, well I might as well shade it... lol

Spooky Month pics continue with Dizzy! This seems like quite the strange witch's brew. =p #OCArt #Art #NoAI #Dizzy #SpookyMonth #Halloween

My panda OC Dizzy dressed up as a witch for Spooky Month standing in front of a cauldron with some tentacles coming out of it.

Exactly correct. I have at least two people I directly know and care about in the community and seeing so many people jumping on this bandwagon is just disheartening. I get some people don't pay attention to these things when chasing the next trend, but you have to be willing to fix your mistakes.

030

Ryan SilverFox @silverfoxr.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I haven't gone so far as to block anyone yet, hopefully because they'll understand playing "clout chase the TERF" was a bad idea and apologize/take down the crap... and hey, good news is that someone did post a WIP and did so after receiving backlash. Unfortunately, some people doubled/tripled down

130

Ryan SilverFox @silverfoxr.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Pretty much this. I've also heard that the chud behind this trend is also misogynistic (or co-opting some terms in the space) and has even shown their transphobe status by saying to only do female versions (so no "it'll make JK upset" defense). I've unfollowed so many people over the weekend. =_=;

130

Ryan SilverFox @silverfoxr.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

This is super cute! They definitely get my seal of approval. =p

020

Ryan SilverFox @silverfoxr.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Thank god some people see that playing "clout chase the TERF" might be a bad idea and have the wherewithal to course-correct. I'm just sad that so many other artists I followed did not consider this (and some had the balls to double or even triple down). Thank you for reconsidering.

0130

Ryan SilverFox @silverfoxr.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Worse yet, clout chasing a trend based out of misogyny connected to a transphobe. I've unfollowed so many artists over the past few days that have decided to join in. Truly pathetic.
