#wipwednesday Though I can't update [Nothing more than a broken toy], I can still share a bit of chapter 6. Poor Zoro is so scared for Sanji ^u^ #zosan #dofsan

When Zoro woke up after a fitful night's sleep, Sanji was nowhere to be found. The bed was empty, sheets were askew, and clothes were scattered on the floor. Ice filled Zoro's nonexistent veins as he leaped from the bed, thoughts turning to the encounter with Doflamingo last night. He noticed the bathroom door was shut and heard noise from within. In a flash, Zoro pounded on the door.

'Please be alone in there, Sanji, please don't be alone with that freak!'

Zoro fell forward when the door opened, his face smacking against damp tile.

"Tora? What's wrong?" He heard Sanji ask.

Zoro looked up to see a fluffy pink towel wrapped around Sanji's waist, water droplets falling from damp, curly blonde locks. A wave of relief filled him as he got to his feet, looking up at Sanji's confused face with a questioning look of his own.

"Were you worried about me?" Sanji asked, his scarred face twisting into a grin. "I'm okay, Tora, I promise."

Sanji reached out to him, picking him up to hold in front of his face.

"You're very sweet; thank you for caring about me." Sanji said, his fingers tracing circles on his back. "I wonder… if my crew comes back, would Luffy let you join? Who am I kidding, I wouldn't even need to ask."

Sanji chuckled, and Zoro felt his heart break a little more at the reminder that Sanji doesn’t remember him. Zoro held his arms out, Sanji bringing him closer where Zoro wrapped his plush arms around Sanji as much as he can and let himself break just a little bit. He shook in Sanji's hold, not even able to cry.

"It's okay, Tora. Everything will be okay."

For #wipwednesday have something kind of cute before things get less cute for the next chapter of [Nothing more than a broken toy] ^u^

Up and down staircases and deep into the castle's lower levels, Sanji tried to mentally map every possible path and escape route if needed.

'At least this way, I know where things are,' Sanji thought, though it was only a small comfort.

"You think you can help remember the way, Tora?" Sanji asked, looking down to see Tora looking back with a furrowed brow. Sanji laughed, squeezing Tora in his arms. "Yeah, that might be too much for you, huh?"

At that, Tora struggled in Sanji's arms until he got out of his hold and moved up to Sanji's shoulder to sit with his arms crossed.

"Are you pouting?" Sanji laughed harder, stumbling with the force of his laughter until he leaned against a wall. "What could you possibly pout over? What, is it because I assumed that as a tiny toy tiger you might have trouble with directions?"

Sanji could almost hear the indignant huff as Tora tried to turn away from him while still perched on his shoulder. With one last chuckle, Sanji patted Tora's head and continued down a staircase further into the depths of the castle.

"I'm sorry, Tora," Sanji said, "But thank you for being here. I think I needed that."

Tora leaned against Sanji in a wordless response, but Sanji could feel the way that this strange toy he had just met cared for him, almost as though it had been with him forever. It was a strange feeling, but it was comforting at the same time.

Sometimes fic research/writing fics looks like this. I drew the map based on a bunch of pictures from the anime and I bought the pins from a vendor at pride. The Ace pin is supposed to be Sabo and the Jinbe pin is for Kin'emon.

With a sigh, he sat back against the pillows on the bed and held the tiger to his chest once more.

"I'm glad you're here at least, even if I don't know why you are. I'm sorry we're both stuck here."

The tiger didn't reply, just nestled further into Sanji's chest. Sanji began to pet it absent-mindedly, his thoughts drifting back to what had only been a handful of hours before. How quickly things changed when he had fallen for Violet and followed her wherever she desired. Sanji looked back at the tiger, how it stared up at him almost knowingly.

"I don't suppose you have a name I could call you, do you?" Sanji asked, only for the tiger to seem to struggle to make noise. Sanji pet behind its ears as it became discouraged, "It's okay, you don't have to struggle. I can come up with something until we figure out how to help you speak. Is that okay?"

The tiger nodded, wrapping its arms around Sanji's hand as though holding him close.

"How about Tora? It's a pretty simple name, but I think it suits you," Sanji smiled again, watching as the tiger squeezed his hand, then nodded.

"Alright, Tora, glad we figured that out at least."

"The young master has given you something to wear to better fit your position as his Corazon to fill the heart seat."

"I don't care what he wants," Sanji spits, feeling tense as the woman raises an eyebrow at him, "that flamingo bastard can shove it up his ass for all I care."

She laughed, holding a hand to her mouth as she stepped closer, looming over Sanji's place on the bed.

"It's funny how you think you have a say in this," she grins as she shakes her free hand once, the arm quickly transforming into a gun, the barrel now pointed directly at his chest as she smiles sickly sweet, "now get changed, Cor-a-zon~."

Sanji nodded, taking the offered clothes as the woman stood near the door, watching as Sanji carefully stood up and headed to the bathroom with Tora in his arms. He tried to steady himself, taking deep breaths as he took off his bloodied dress shirt and replaced it with the blue button-up, then put the hat on his head. It was as he fastened the cloak that he saw himself in the mirror, no longer the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates but someone he barely recognized. Despite the bandages, his wounds were still visible, and as he reached to touch where his cheeks had been sliced open, he felt rage and helplessness fill his veins. He shook, holding onto the bathroom counter as tears filled his eyes, wincing when one made contact with the gouged-out skin under his left eye. The pain cleared his head, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath to force himself under control.

Happy #wipwednesday (for once on the right day), here's a little something from the next chapter of [Nothing but a broken toy] (fic name is still a wip). Hope you enjoy ^u^ #zosan #dofsan

He runs at Doflamingo, Kitetsu unsheathed in one swift movement to clash with a Haki-covered leg. Doflamingo laughs, kicking Zoro away easily and sending him skidding across the stone floor.

"I see you've finally decided to join us, pirate hunter. My little Corazon has been asking for you ever since he got here."

"He's not yours!" Zoro screamed, unsheathing Shusui and aiming a slash at Doflamingo again, only for the Warlord to block the attack once again.

"How cute. But you're mistaken, pirate hunter; he's my treasured Corazon," Doflamingo smiles wide, leaning in to meet Zoro's eye behind his sunglasses, "You're too late to take him from me now."

"I refuse to believe that you pink freak!" Zoro yells, pushing his blades towards the Warlord to create distance between them.

He succeeds, getting Doflamingo off to the side so he can rush to Sanji's side. He's struggling in his bonds, cuts starting to form on his wrists, but at least he's still fighting. Zoro gets to Sanji's side, grabbing his arm to still his struggles.

"Moss, you need to get out of here. I'll be fine." Sanji tries to beg, only for Zoro to snarl.

"Like hell I'm leaving you here with this twisted freak!"

Just pretend it's WiP Wednesday, I forgot lol Here's a sneak peek of the next chapter of the Cora Sanji Toy Zoro AU where Sanji thinks about his Mossy ^u^ #zosan

Sanji was walking with Violet arm in arm now as they traversed through the city. It was nice having someone so lovely hanging off of him, even though she would press her ample breasts against his arm often. It made him think of the past, how before he would turn into a flustered mess when any woman would pay attention to him like this, but now it's funny how much he had changed after getting together with Zoro.

He would never admit it, not even to the man himself, but he had never been happier than he had been when they finally had a real talk soon after Fishman Island. They were lucky that no one had interrupted them when they snuck out of the party in the palace to have some alone time in an empty room. Ever since then, they had spent a lot of time just being together around the ship. It was more than he felt he deserved from the man.

Even so, while nothing really changed between them, Sanji found himself fawning over beautiful women less than before, or at least, not to the same extent. Though he definitely still helps any woman in need and will treat them as the goddesses they are, his usual flirtations were subdued. It helped that he knew how his Mossy swordsman felt about him, and he would do his best to earn his affection.

As they were walking down a surprisingly empty street, Sanji felt his Haki flare in warning, quickly spotting a gunman standing atop a tall tower. He launched himself into the air, skywalking towards the man and knocking him off of the tower with a single kick. He turned to Violet and sent a beaming smile her way with a thumbs-up, delighting in her shocked expression.

"We should be safe now," he said, jumping down and softening his landing with skywalking.

"My goodness. You're strong; that was amazing." Violet spoke, approaching him with a smile.

"No, no, anyone can detect a sniper from over a hundred feet away; it was nothing at all," he replied with a pleased smile, even as he knew that wasn't something just anyone could do.

Have some somewhat horny #zosan that then gets cockblocked by Luffy This is from the eventual next chapter of the Corazon Sanji and Toy Zoro AU fic [I really need a better name for that]

"Hey, dumb cook, help out with this stupid thing will ya?"

Sanji turned to see Zoro half leaning out of the changing room, only a hint of the black suit jacket visible, but much more visible was the necktie wrapped around his neck in a knot. Sanji struggled to hide his laughter as he approached, pushing his stupid Moss back into the changing room.

"Honestly, why even try to wear it when you don't even know how to, stupid swordsman."

"You wear em all the time, I thought it'd be easy." Zoro grumbled as Sanji started to undo the messy knot wrinkling the nice white button-up Zoro had on underneath a black suit jacket with matching black suit pants. When the knot was finally untied, Sanji stepped back.

"You know, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you should wear this more often. Makes you look like you know how hygenie works."

"Whatever idiot," Zoro smirked, reaching up to unbutton the top two buttons of his shirt as he leaned in close, "admit it, you just like the view."

Sanji found himself smiling back, even as he was crowded against the wall and his hands found themselves settled on bulging pecks underneath a suit. He didn't get a chance to reply as Zoro's lips met his, soft yet hungry as he pressed closer into Sanji's space. Sanji met him just as intensely, biting at Zoro's lips as the man moved his hands over Sanji's waist, trying to get under his tucked in shirt while Sanji had full access to grope at the other's chest.

"Hey guys look what I found!" Luffy shouted, opening the door forcefully and making Sanji flinch away from Zoro as the other did the same, "Whoa, were you guys kissing in here?!"

"Shut up Luffy!"

Actually got to sit down and write again after way too long. Hopefully finishing up a prologue for the Corazon Sanji and Toy Zoro AU. Thanks again to @sailf1sh.bsky.social for letting me write this ^u^ I'm having a lot of fun with this.

"Finally done?" Zoro asked, holding a mug out to Sanji.

"Yeah, the stew is gone. Practically scraped clean after everyone got their seconds and thirds," Sanji sat down with a sigh, taking the offered booze with a nod.

They sat quietly, just enjoying the sounds of revelry as they watched the crew and children enjoy themselves. Finally out of the lab, they had all been stuck in for far too long. It made Sanji shiver just being inside the cold, unfeeling walls that brought long-buried memories back to the surface. Zoro noticed, of course, he noticed, and leaned into Sanji's space.

"You're doing that thing again," he stated, causing Sanji to huff out a laugh.

"You'll have to be more specific, Mossy. I do a lot of things."

"You're getting stuck in your head. What caused that this time?"

Sanji shook his head, leaning back against Zoro.

"This place just feels like a prison, is all. Glad that we're finally leaving."

"Hm, me too." Zoro agreed, taking a long swig of his drink, "Ready for the fight ahead? You can scream my name for help if you ever need someone strong to come save you."

"Oh, don't get so full of yourself. You know damn well I'm strong without you causing problems," Sanji laughed as he shoved at the other's arm.

"Yeah, yeah, strong until a pair of tits crosses your way."

"And you'd know something about that, hm?" Sanji replied, a hand slipping underneath Zoro's open coat and [robe] to rest on his chest. Zoro went still, meeting Sanji's smug grin with an unimpressed glare. Sanji barely had time to react when Zoro grabbed the back of his coat and shoved his face between his [pecks]. Sanji [sputtered], then went still as his face met Zoro's warm skin. He nuzzled them, then [kissed] the scar that Mihawk left on his chest.

“Sanji? Are you alright? You stopped so suddenly.”

A blink and Sanji finds the knife in his hand, poised to strike Brook’s neck, only for Brook’s blade to block it.

“Sanji, what are you doing?”

Sanji doesn’t respond, tongue like lead in his mouth. Yet he feels a smile twist his face, and a haki-covered boot finds its way to Brook’s chest, shattering the bones immediately. Brook yells, falling back, and Sanji doesn’t spare a moment to crush the skull beneath his boot. A ghostly wail meets his ears, his gaze snapping to the greenish hue of Brook’s soul staring at him with fear and fury in equal measure.

“Sanji, you’re not yourself! I promise, I’ll find help and come right back!”

Brook’s soul doesn’t make it through the wall. Instead, there’s a small cut-off scream as he vanishes once more under Sanji’s haki-covered boot.
